This was my first time there. You have to order and pay at the counter first. Then, find a seat and enjoy your food and drink. The music is a great touch. The place is a decent size. They even have outside seating. Prices of food are very reasonable. There is even a bar area where you can sit. Great customer service. The food I ordered was very delicious. It was a small bowl with bbq pork, white rice, and cucumbers. My meal only cost $8. I forgot to mention that their menu changes a lot.

The 5 stars is for the beer selection, their daily changing menu and the outstanding service. Though I normally don’t like to order at the counter, here it was very efficient. The drinks were provided immediately and the food came quickly to the table. The burgers were excellent, but I wish I was warned the Reuben sandwich had spicy sauce. We loved the bourbon barrel aged stout on tap. We will definitely be back.

Had dinner with family here and it was great. You gotta have the smash burger, one of the best I’ve had anywhere. We also had the wings, chicharrons, and pizza… yeah, we kinda pigged out here. But it was so good. They had a wide selection of beer on tap, but we had a long drive ahead of us so we opted out on that, but next time ! Staff were really great, and helpful with suggestions. On my list for a return visit….

While visiting my daughter her significant other took me here for a beer. Had a great selection of craft draft beer that seem too rotate weekly, not all but most . Smallish bar but plenty of seating in adjoining cafe and patio. Speaking of Cafe, love food options here as they may not be the biggest menu but have tried many and all were great . Food also rotates with a couple things always made daily. Will be back at end of July and look forward to visiting multiple times again .

The food was excellent! We had the Birria Tacos and Pork Dumplings. Both dishes had complex flavors, textures, and were piping hot. The ordering was a bit confusing at first as no one greeted us, and we weren’t sure if it was counter or table service. Anyways, you order at the back of the bar and find your own seat. No one really checked on us once we received our meals, but it wasn’t really necessary since the food was outstanding. The atmosphere and flow were definitely an afterthought, but they’re a brand new place, and I’m sure they’ll grow into something awesome. Overall, 4-stars and the food is 5-stars. We’ll for sure be returning with friends, and we can’t wait to see how Chinns evolves into a fan-favorite destination spot. Cheers!

Service was great. No food this time as we were in just for a beer and to check out a new spot in Modesto. Rotating taps are great. Menu options seem like a great concept so we’ll be back.
