Terrible customer service. As soon as I walked in with my kids, loud inappropriate music was playing in the kitchen. It was 8pm, and they supposedly ran out of lettuce, cheese, peppers & onions, & steak. When I complained about it they went in the back and got the missing options I needed after telling me they didn’t have anymore. They don’t close until 10pm and was already cleaning the kitchen and putting away all the food. The tables and floors were all messy you could not sit and eat in the restaurant. Employees were not helpful and acted like they hated being there.

Food has been more consistent lately. I think their staff is starting to work together, which is great. Sometimes the line is crazy long because there’s one person preparing the food & one cashier, then 1 cook. Tables often get dirty and stay that way until the lines is finely caught up. Finding a clean table to eat at is often troubling during lunch. But food is awesome, and staff always tries to give good customer service.

I get chipotle frequently from various locations, multiple times a week and never have had any complaints. Came to the Newton store for the second time, first time they were skimpy on the extra meat, when we’re paying for extra so ideally we expect to get what we pay for. But second time everything was fine until we got to the cheese. Typically I wouldn’t care if they ran out of something it happens…but the woman doing our bowl said there was no shredded cheese left never attempted to check , okay that’s fine it happens..but as we’re paying we see on the side the lady is bringing up shredded cheese..we asked the cashier if we can get some because the other woman said there wasn’t any, and she looked at the other woman and said sorry that’s for the online orders we can’t give it to you..okay fine…normally I wouldn’t write a review but that was very odd to me and didn’t seem right.

Staff here are great. I forgot to grab the guy’s name, but he was very helpful and quick to get orders complete and clean up the drink station. My only gripe is the trash/recycling hadn’t been emptied in a while so they were all full. Food was on par with typical Chipotle quality.

The food was fine. Except half of the choices were out. But more importantly the place was a mess. Food all over the floors and counters. There were 2 or 3 employees just standing around while one lady served everyone and checked everybody out! Disappointed for sure!

Last few visits were average but this last one was by far the worst. Not sure if it’s lack of leadership, proper training, lack of motivation or a combination of it all. 4 employees, 2 working the counter and 2 standing in the back. Manager yelled at one of the people in the back to come up front to help while she went to go do online orders. The employee came up to the counter and stared at the empty trays. Instead of assisting the other employee making orders, she just stood there while the guy making orders had to go in the back and get the stuff himself. Then after about 10 minutes of waiting at the counter to pay for my food, the employee that was called up front, stood staring at the register not knowing how to do a cash transaction. She finally went in the back and got the manager who pushed my order off to the side, took my cash and gave me my change and everyone walked away. Standing there with change and a receipt in my hand but no food, I was left speechless until the manager came back and bagged up my food.

Horrible, I know this is new and all but I’ve been to other Chipotle’s and this one is by far the worst. I love Chipotle and this is definitely the last time I am going to this one. Lost my on-line order once, I’ve had to wait 40 minutes for my food once. I ordered something in the middle of the day and they messed it up. I have only gone here 4 times and all 4 there has been something wrong. Can’t tell if it is management at this store or they are understaffed, but whatever it is this restaurant needs to improve. If they can do that then maybe I will go back, but not for the foreseeable future

Walked in to pick up a mobile order. I couldn’t pay for the order online so had to wait in line to pick up my order and pay ( defeats the purpose of ordering online but obviously a technical problem and not the fault of the staff ). I received my order and asked if everything i ordered was inside the sealed bag, I was told to check it myself. Isn’t it the job of the staff to make sure the order is complete before sealing the bag? I opened the bag in my car and did a quick visual and everything looked good. Got to the house and the large guac I ordered was not in the bag. Tried to contact online support to let them know there was an item missing and surprise surprise I get all the way through the process of submitting a complaint and I am told there is a system processing error and to try again later. This isn’t about the 6 dollar guac its about a multi million ( possibly billion ) dollar corporation failing in both service and support multiple times in one simple order. Needless to say I dont think I will be back.

What a joke. We ordered pickup for 4:50pm and finally walked out with the food at 5:15pm. Ironically, if we had just walked in, got in line and ordered that way, we would have got the food quicker. Then, upon getting home, one of our tacos had no chicken in it whatsoever. 10 people working in the back and only one person lazily packing pickup orders, so I’m not surprised. First Chipotle experience and won’t be going back.
