The BEST experience I’ve ever had at Chipotle, or any fast/casual restaurant for that matter. Amazing service & delicious food. We came in at 9:30pm, just before closing. But all of the food was stocked, the atmosphere was clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly. We interacted with Kaylin, Gabby and Madison and they’re the sweetest restaurant employees we’ve ever met! They were so kind & helpful. Also this is the CLEANEST and most futuristic chipotle! It’s entirely electric (the first in the region!), and there’s a drive-through for online order pickup. Normally I wouldn’t leave a review, but I was so impressed by this experience that I wanted to make sure to share. Madison is so kind & helped us not to feel rushed even though they were closing. Thank you for the great dinner!

Walked in to see trush cans over filled. Fajita vegetables not cooked all the way and had a burt taste to them. Possibly from an unclean grill. The meats were room temperature and smaller serving than the other Chipotle I have been to. Chips were stale. Staff were not friendly and walking around the dining room on the phone eating while filling the nakin holders. Someone with in Chipotle company needs to take a look at what wrong with this place

Picked up a mobile order here, and something the crew did made something leak in the bag without me knowing. It wasn’t until I got home that I noticed it leaked all in my car seat and when I went to pick it up, it fell right thru the bag and onto the ground. The bowl was for my mother in law and when she went to order another one drive thru, that one leaked as well! They need to do something about the leaking bowls. There was also no way to call the store to let them know what happened. Hopefully this hasn’t happened to anyone else, but I sincerely doubt that.

I’ve eaten in Chipotle’s all over VA. I live in Gloucester, VA so was really happy when we got one here. That was, until I ate there. Slow service, unfriendly staff, dirty counters & out of key ingredients. But hey, I figured they’re just new – it must be growing pains. So I gave them another chance. Then another…and another. Unfortunately this place is just getting worse, not better. On one recent visit, there were no grilled peppers & onions (as usual). I asked why, and was told, “because we haven’t cooked them” (they were sitting in a big pan beside the stove). I said, “Ill wait” (the manager was standing at the register listening). So the cook put them on the stove, & I waited. After a few minutes, the manager made an exasperated noise, picked up my bowl, walked it over to the drive thru side where there were plenty of peppers & onions, put a few in the bowl then slammed it back down on the counter & walked away. Undeterred, I cam back again a week later. No peppers & onions again. I asked if they had any, and got a loud, rude, “NO!”. (Different people so wasn’t like they remembered me.) That time I just left & haven’t been back. To summarize – this place is the worst Chipotle I’ve ever seen. I’ll give them this – they’re consistent! Consistently out of ingredients, consistently rude, consistently dirty counters & floors (even during slow times). I have heard these same complaints echoed by local residents everywhere. Whenever the topic of dining comes up, it inevitably turns to how awful the Gloucester Chipotle is. I seriously hope the Chipotle management sends some folks to this location to retrain everyone. It starts at the top, and no decent restaurant manager would allow such consistently bad service.

Usually I’m very understanding for wait times for restaurants especially if they just open. I’m not at all upset about my food being slightly cold or waiting over 25+ minutes. What I am let down by is that all of that and I got skimped on things that I ordered. Got Queso for the promo that is displayed and I literally get a tablespoon in a cup? If I payed the actual $3 for this amount of Queso I would be wanting a refund or something for it. My bowl is like half emptied from what I have seen. Like it’s just disappointing for a place I typically love going too and enjoy.

This place is obviously still learning and way behind being a good normal Chipotle. I’m a huge fan of Chipotle and go to locations around the country. This one pretty much sucks. They never have fresh food prepped, and today the refused to give us guacamole while the takeout station had plenty. Refusing service??!! Really??!! I usually love Chipotle but this place is a D or F at best!!

Stopped by to pick up dinner and usually love Chipotle but not today. The lady making me order of 2 bowls was hardly putting anything in the bowl. Even the rice? Come on rice?! Half a spoon full of each item! Really?! If that happens next time I will not be back.

I was so disappointed at the options available. The staff weren’t even trying to help us get our order. They didn’t have any vegetables and didn’t even tell us if they would get any. I’ve never been so disappointed by a Chipotle before.
