We wanted to like this restaurant. We did. We love the Boone location, but the lack of cleanliness needs to be addressed. We were excited about taking my mother for her first experience and I left a little embarrassed to put her through it. The restaurant had just opened for the day yet most tables were smeared with dried food. Guess from the previous day? The floors were dirty, trash cans full. We ordered pico and chips and got a batch of greasy chips with half the order burned. My mother bit into a rotten tomato in her pico. I don’t generally write negative reviews, but don’t want anyone else to pay over $30 for lunch for two and walk away so disappointed.

More often than not, they make items incorrectly (from an ingredient standpoint.) They’ve left cilantro or lime out of the rice, or added a ton of onion. I’ve experienced it with the salsas as well.

Let me start off by saying it pains me to write this because I luv me some Chipotle but i can no longer let my experience go unspoken. I’ve been to this location 2 times in less than a month and each time was TRASH!!!. I was extremely disappointed each time I visited this location. The first time the girl wrapping my burrito, had a “IDGAF” attitude and lazily wrapped my burrito and by the time I got home to dive into my burrito it literally started falling apart!!!! Isnt that what Chipotle is known for huge burritos staying in tack????? Needless to say i was upset. On top of the burrito being wrapped poorly, the anijo steak was so overcooked that it disintegrated in my mouth and, not to mention, was cold!!!! I decided to give this place one more shot but same thing occurred the next time i visited SMH I even told the same employee from last time wrapping my burrito it fell apart and asked her if she could ensure to wrap it better this time. When I tell you this chic gave me a death stare, I am not exaggerating. No sooner than I got home and started eating my burrito, it started falling apart. This location has messed up my order twice, and each time, I’ve spent close to $40. I should have drove back each time and demanded a refund but I didn’t instead I’m leaving this review for ANYONE even considering going to this location I DONT recommend it and I won’t visit this location EVER again. I’m better off going to McDonald’s at this point!

I used to love chipotle and eat there all the time. In the past year, every single chipotle experience has been disappointing almost regardless of location due to food quality, missing order items, or some other issue. Most recently, I went to this location and got food poisoning from the Al pastor chicken burrito bowl. Needless to say, won’t be eating there again.

Daughter and I both got food poisoning after eating the chicken burrito. Placed online orders and when we got back to the hotel we discovered that both orders were wrong. Do not recommend unless you like getting sick from sub par food.
