my husband and I usually eat here once a week and recently the food as been awful. We went today and got 2 bowls 1 chicken and 1 barbacoa. The barbacoa wasn’t even shredded my husband said it tasted under cooked. My chicken was in big chunks and very chewy. The rice and meat were cold as if it hadn’t been cooked/in a warmer. Not to mention our bowls were half full. If I’m paying $10 for a bowl I want $10 worth of bowl not a half scoop of everything.

Don’t bother reading any other reviews but this one. This place is intoxicating with its delicious aromas , friendly staff, and ample parking. I felt enraptured by the food. I tried the spicy chicken. Go ahead , try it . When you start feeling like you might give this less than 5 stars – remember – this used to be a Sonic. And we all know how that turned out.

First and last time at this location. I ordered a bowl, and they barely put any cheese on it, when i asked for more as it didn’t touch a single edge of the bowl they said they would have to charge me $1.40… there wasn’t $1.40 worth on the bowl to begin with. I told them never mind I didn’t want it, they tossed it in the trash. So, instead of making $8 on the burrito and giving me proper portions, you didn’t make a penny, and you threw it away in front of me. What a joke and how sad. They make things called measuring cups. All chipotles should use those to not cause issues between orders. The guy in front of me had someone different make his, and he didn’t ask for more cheese, and his covered the whole bowl. ♀️ ♀️

How does an $8 meal turn into $15 and then the manager looks and talks to me like im stupid? $3 just for cheese. Double meat upcharge? I never asked for that. Good job towards the gentlemen serving me however. Food was good but doubling my price for a single meal, no one should allow that.

Ordered a steak burrito ended up with a rice burrito. Short girl with tattoos was extremely stingy with the meat. She also put all of the sauce in one spot in the burrito, leaving 70% without and 30% dropping with sauce. Will probably go back if she’s not the one on the line that day.

If you want to order pick up, just don’t. Four workers for one person ordering inside while there are four cars in the drive thru. I thought it was just a one time deal but this has happened three times. The employees will just stare at you while you sit. I waited for 10 minutes. They just should not offer pick up here. You can’t go in and grab it either because the shelves are behind the counter. It is best to go in and order at this location. Food was good though!

Just left chipotle Alexandria for the second time this week, and for the fourth or fifth time in the row had great service, fresh food, with good size portions. Shout out to the assistant manager and his mother who were working tonight. Totally made my day.
