This is hands down the best chipotle in the greater KC area. The ingredients here are always super fresh. The serving sizes are big. The service is super welcoming. I eat here at least once a week.

Today my recent attempt at using Chipotle’s online pickup service turned into a frustrating ordeal. Arriving to collect my order during the busy lunch rush, I was informed that their payment system was down. Despite opting for the drive-through to save time, I was denied the option to pay there and was rudely instructed to go inside and order again at the counter. The employee’s tone was dismissive and unhelpful, showing no concern for the inconvenience caused.

Ordered ahead of time, they have a drop off for mobile orders and it was empty at our time to pickup our order. So we sat and waited. After some time I noticed other people getting their orders at the register. So I went up and told them I had a mobile order, they then said they held them in the back to prevent stealing, that’s fine but it would of been nice to have a sign or something so I didn’t sit there waiting. Now I have cold food. We sat outside due to the inside being dirty. I then realized they didn’t give us our drink so had to go back for that. We ate our food and got to the chips and realized they didn’t give us our guacamole so I had to go back for that also. Then we tried our chips and they were stale. Just overall bad experience. I would give less stars if that was an option. Also, I know they saw us sitting there waiting and watching the pickup area and didn’t think to mention to us that our order might be in the back. I’ve been to many other Chipotles and this is not a thing at any other locations.

Opening a new location can be challenging, however I’d expect more from Chipotle. The men’s restroom was absolutely horrible and based on feedback from others in my party, their women’s restroom wasn’t much better (no soap or paper towels). Additionally, I had to request new chips because mine were stale. Sadly the new bag was too.

They charge extra for the barbacoa but every time I order it about half of it ends up being absolutely disgusting giant globs of fat that make me lose my appetite. They really need to work on their quality control or maybe they just don’t care.

The employees shut off the steam tables an hour before closing. The food was cold and in violation of the Johnson County Health Codes. I took my food back and got a refund. Looks like Chipolte is back to their food poisoning ways. I will never eat at another Chipoltes again after this experience. I called the GM of the store and she refuses to answer. I am making a complaint to the Johnson County Health Department.

Rarely gets your order correct. Doesn’t matter if you are in person or delivery they still seem to not care and just rush through orders. When I ordered delivery from this location I get someone else’s food in a bag with my name (label on food itself is someone else or even my name with wrong ingredients). Not worth the hassle with this store. You are better off going further down to the other location off of K7 highway.

The chicken al pastor is amazing! I had a burrito with pico de gallo, corn, and hot sauce. It pairs well with the flavor of the al pastor chicken. I would highly recommend it.
