Chipotle is a favorite. Really great for quantities. Very tasty. I had the carnitas and my wife had the chicken bowl. You can ask for a tortilla on the side when you order the bowl. We also got chips and salsa, but we don’t recommend it.

My job has me “behind the scenes” of a lot of restaurants. I stopped eating at most of them over a decade ago. I don’t think Chipotle will ever be on that list. The attention to kitchen/food prep cleanliness, quality of ingredients and service is always great at any of them I’ve visited. But, the friendly energy of the staff at this particular location (Gonzales, LA) makes it shine a little brighter to me.

At the end of the day Chipotle is Chipotle but there are definitely locations that do it better than others. This is one of them. I’d give this location a 4.5 if I could, only because the rice was a bit undercooked. The beans and meat were cooked very well, tasted super fresh.

I was so looking forward to eating at Chipotle ,there are only 2 that serve Baton Rouge . When we walked in , no one was in the Reaturant , the staff was just hanging out, the area where they prepare the food was full of food particles, the food binds were partially full of old food, the tables were dirty,the area where the drinks were was a disaster area, several employees passed by all of these areas, but never stopped to clean up. We reported it to the manager, he did have someone clean the drink area, but not the tables. WOW WHO OWNS THIS PLACE.. do they eat there❓ or even come in❓ the food was tasty. Hate I didn’t take pics ❗️❗️

There is absolutely no reason it should take 3 people at the counter 10 minutes to serve two people. Then they cant make the burrito without tearing it and have to start over. I dont know about the average person but I dont plan on spending 15 minutes at chipotle to get a burrito.

Pay your people enough money to clean up the place. That restaurant was disgusting and the food was undercooked. The rice was crunchy and there was garbage and liquid all over the floor. It smells like a landfill in there.

Bowls are usually done very tasteful. Today I purchased a bowl that was prepared very sloppy with small portions. One other staff offered to redo, but I was in a hurry after having to wait for chicken.
