There have been multiple times where I have either gotten my food significantly after I ordered it (>45 minutes), or never gotten it at all. I don’t believe it to be the individual employees faults. They all seem overworked and stressed every time I visit. I think the blame goes towards the poor management and systems they have in place. I would recommend going to Illegal Pete’s a block over.

If I could give this place a negative 100, I would! Rude employees. Food was stale and hard and dried out… because they were closing in an hour. I guess paying customers deserve old food because they are closing in an hour. They said no one can use the bathroom for the last hour. One of the children i was with is disabled and they had an accident all over themselves because they would not let him use the bathroom…. AS PAYING CUSTOMERS!!! ARE YOU SERIOUS???!!!! I cannot believe what Americans put up w from these businesses. I guess that’s why the poor stay poor and the rich get richer. A tiny little quesadilla and a soda was $14… and old…. I am disgusted!

I’m not one to make lousy reviews, but I had a bad experience with the manager here. First off, the manager was stoned out of his mind (his eyes were blaring red). The first person who served me steak, rice, and beans was really nice. The manager took over to serve salsa, lettuce, and all that jazz. When the manager (who was high out of his mind) grabbed my bowl, he asked if I wanted hot sauce and I said no thank you. After that question, he proceeded to close my bowl. I asked him if I could please have lettuce, cheese, and sour cream, but he ignored me, rolled his eyes, and served the next guest. I paid for steak, rice, and beans. What bugs me so much is the fact that I said please and thank you to everyone I interacted with. I even paid for a homeless man’s meal because he didn’t have any money. And the manager that I interacted with was rude and stoned out of his mind. The only reason why I knew he was a manager is because the homeless dude Infront if me said he lost his wallet so they cashier went to grab her manager. I told the manager that I’d pay for his meal and I did. Like I said, I never leave bad reviews anywhere, this is my first. But that was horrible service and I would not recommend going there. Go to Illegal Pete’s. They have better food and a much better management. Shout out to the part-timers there, they were great. The management just needs some reworking.

Good spot for lunch pick-up. If you’re like me who usually opts for a healthier option, order burrito bowl with brown rice, chicken, black bean, romaine lettuce, tomato salsa, and gauc. It would be around $9-10 for the meal I had. The bowl I had was absolutely filling with the right amounts of fiber, carb, fat, protein. The brown rice was a bit undercooked for me but it was good overall.
