Customer service was incredibly bad and the food was stale and just not remotely good, when I asked for the bathroom code they gave me the wrong code, (didn’t work on either bathrooms). Although not very full every table was dirty, the walls were unfinished with no indication of construction (that may have just been the vibe but it still felt off) and to top it all off there was no celling, all that was there was insulation with a tarp material covering it. Last but not least our chips were stale and crushed and had a weird sour aftertaste. So yeah pretty much everything that makes a restaurant a restaurant was wrong

I came here for the first time because of their new menu: pollo asado, meaning grilled chicken. Some one told me this tasted like Szechuan spicy diced chicken… Indeed, it tasted really not bad! (While this is a seasonal dish.) The only reason I gave four stars is because the service was kinda slow… need to be patient and wait long time. Guess chipotle should learn from Panda Express.

Bought the Garlic Gaullijo Steak quesadilla and it was burnt, there was practically no cheese and the steak was over cooked. Ended up having to throw it all away. Terrible mistake to eat here due to the lack of respect in making a simple quesadilla.

The folks who work here are nice but this place needs a new manager. Trash all over the floor and counter, no utensils, missing drinks we purchased via the app, outside tables were really (really) dirty, etc. And it’s not like they were busy. It’s an “order via the app only” place. There was no one inside except the three workers. Stale chips topped it off.

Customer service at this chipotle is at the bottom of the barrel can’t get any worse than this location, if you order food online or through DoorDash or another delivery app to get it delivered to you just know that dashers and food delivery couriers commonly have to wait an extra 5 minutes at a minimum to be helped so we can deliver YOUR food this is the best case scenario. Most of the time we are giving the side eye, or just blatantly ignored so how are we supposed to get chipotle customers their food in a timely fashion when this location is run by employees don’t care about their job Or simply don’t care about the service they are providing to all of their customers

Food is pretty good and tasty, service is fast and excellent; the girl was very helpful and polite. I wanted to try the new smoked brisket but there was none, also there was no ice in the ice machine. Store looks clean but could be much cleaner. You need a code to open the restrooms.

Walked in after a long day on the boardwalk – 7:50 pm and was advised they are only taking online orders. No explanation to why…5 staff members roaming around the kitchen and no eye contact or a courtesy explanation as to why they were not taking in person orders.

ok so a year ago this truly has to be the worst ducking chipotles ever. awful. im posting this to say that now, these guys are crushing it. theyre always busy and food is delicious almost always fully stocked up even when theres a huge line. idk if it is new management but either way posting to say im proud of u guys river st chipotle. youre doing amazing sweetie. i love chipotle so im glad i can go to the closer one. great great job chipotle hq you should be proud!

These guys are doing a great job. Long line on the weekend and i was through in 5 minutes. Food was solid. Even extra food on the side so they were prepared. Staff was friendly and vibrant.

Obligatory “I don’t usually post reviews” review: this is easily the worst Chipotle I’ve ever been to and it never ceases to get worse every time I try again. Their newest addition to the s***show is that they only take online orders.. indicated by a greasy piece of paper they wrote on and posted on the glass when you approach the counter. Can’t even throw a quick bowl together because they’re too busy chatting and goofing off and throwing together messy online orders with extremely gross, excessively used gloves. The whole place is a rodent’s paradise and good luck having all of your choice ingredients available. I’d say it’s the management but I think the ever-revolving staff of unenthusiastic college students probably adds to it. I’d do the online order thing, but there’s about a 50/50 chance of your bag being swiped by one of the many transient folks that lurk around in the parking lot. I’m repeatedly shocked by how a job so easy can become such a catastrophe. Do I feel better posting this review? Not really. Am I still hungry? Yes.
