I was pleasantly surprised by Chips! We went upstairs. We really enjoyed the food. The hand cut fries were super tasty. Burgers were cooked to order and they had fun options like a macaroni and cheese burger.

This is a great place on the square. They offer Hamburgers pretty much any way you can imagine. They also have build your own. We got the build your own Beef Burgers, Fries, Sodas and beer. Of course saved the best for last, Milkshakes. Their Burgers are delicious, but seems some of the items we wanted on our burger were not put on there. We shared a large fry, they were overcooked but do have potential if cooked correctly. Drinks were fine and our Milkshakes were GREAT!! They are a little pricey.

Staff was great, first and foremost. Everything after that was downhill. For a burger bar, you would think the burgers would be next level, but no, they were no better than burgers from high school. I had the Southern Burger and it wasn’t really good. I thought the chili might have been homemade or something, I don’t think so, it tasted like canned chili. I can do that at home, and not pay these prices. Definitely overpriced for less than mediocre food, plus they were out of tots. They aren’t an upstart restaurant anymore, so no excuses there please. I had heard awful things after they first opened, but went because a friend of mine went and said he spoke with the owner and they said they made a lot of mistakes in the beginning and are working hard to fix them. Guess they haven’t started yet…

At the moment we’re waiting for the return of our money. Would not recommend. They gave my mother the top part of the tomatoes on her burger and I somehow got peppers on mine which wasn’t even on the menu. The lady that took our order was kind and had great customer service skills

Had a wonderful meal here. Cody, Jake, and Lana were working the bar upstairs. Friendly staff had a great time getting to know them. Wonderful conversationalists and were able to help with questions about the area. Food was excellent family friendly place, but also a great hangout for young people too.

The atmosphere and theme of the bar is amazing. I appreciated the small details such as getting black napkins instead of regular white ones. The music played was also enjoyable. The Berries & Cream cocktail and frozen Watermelon Sugar from the bar were really good. The Southern Cheese Balls were amazing and one of the best things I’ve ever ate. The fried pickles were also good. I tried a double Chipotle Burger with a side of tatter tots. The portion size of everything (especially the patty size) was great and the tatter tots were good but this is what leads me into one of my disappointments… the flavor of the burger was just completely missing. It tasted very empty and I’m guessing it’s because there’s not enough seasoning being put into the actual patty.

First time coming here and it didn’t disappoint. Burgers were delicious, fries were perfect and onion rings were great. I usually can’t stand to eat onion rings anywhere as much as I love them because they are so greasy they make me sick to my stomach, but these were great.
