A great little spot to pick up a slice or sandwich or ice cream! Although the pizza is okay, the sandwiches are always amazing. And for what you get vs. what you pay, you can’t go wrong! Try a bone crusher! Delicious! The ice cream is top notch, and the people working behind the counter are top notch as well!

Best Pizza in Nelson County. Fresh Hand Tossed Pizza by Bill. From simple cheese pizza to bone crushers (amazing varieties). Delicacies at its finest. Fresh ingredients and ambient staff. A delight to the palate. Happy people work here. Ice-creams are a hit too. Place offers dine in take out and sometimes deliveries.

Do not judge this place by looks alone. While the restaurant itself may not come across as much to look at, the food will bring you back time and again. The #1 is my go-to sandwich. The combination of the roast beef, turkey, and the grilled veggies has brought me back for years and years, asking them to put it on a crossaint puts it over the top. Always a good value no matter what you order. The staff is always friendly, and the lending library in the back adds to the charm of this place. I love a good hole in the wall type place, and this one checks a lot of boxes! Skip the soda machine and opt for a canned drink or water.

Really should be leaving no stars. I never leave bad reviews as reviews make or break a business but the fact that we counted 7 roaches(one crawled on to my foot) while we waited for food is pretty bad. Once brought to attention of an employee, they shrugged and acted like it was nothing. 2 people out of our group decided to eat anyways and both ended up sick within 15 minutes. If the employees or owner acted like they were shocked or even halfway cared, I would have went about my business. This place needs to be shut down before someone gets seriously ill.

We tried this local pizza place because it was close and we needed to get something quick. We decided to eat in. That was a mistake and a blessing. Had we ordered delivery we wouldn’t have seen the state of the kitchen cleanliness. This place is a mess. We looked for but couldn’t see a health inspection certificate. I’m sure this wasn’t an accident.

One of the best pizza spots if you’re passing through or live nearby. Genuinely, the pizza is the best to get. Not that expensive for a whole pizza that will leave you wanting more! They also have subs, sandwiches, and milkshakes. All of which are tasty and amazing for lunch or dinner. The staff there is always nice and friendly, making you feel welcomed when coming in. Definitely a good spot if you’re in the Wintergreen area or passing through!

My husband and I got to our honeymoon a little later than expected and decided to call in a Pizza. Half way through ordering our call dropped and we were worried they wouldn’t have gotten the order or would decide not to make it since the call dropped. We decided to go anywhere and hope for the best. We were pleasantly surprised that the pizza was just coming out of the oven when he went inside! We are definitely grateful and surprised by the great service! Thanks for starting our honeymoon off on a great foot!

After a long day of travel and hiking, there’s nothing better than a good pizza. This small business is eager to please. Serving up NY style, thin crust pies, and ice cream if you desire. We phoned in while on the road and it was ready in 20 minutes for pick up just as promised. 2 sizes are offered and a huge list of toppings. We ordered ours w kalamata olives, red onions & Italian sausage and was surprisingly inexpensive. We would definitely revisit Chirios next time we’re around.
