I ordered carry out a large pizza with added fresh garlic and meatballs. The garlic was tasteless and invisible! The meatballs were visible but tasteless. I’ve gotten pizzas there before and they were always really very good.

The pizza here used to be off the charts. Now, it’s 32 for a large pizza that has canned tomato paste tossed onto the crust with no seasoning, unseasoned pork posing as sausage and a price point well above its competitors.

Chivo’s flavors are one in their own. The sauce recipe is nailed to perfection. The crust is crispy and delicious! I ordered the calzone and eating leftovers today from it. So good! Reheated in the oven and you wouldn’t know it wasn’t straight from the restaurant. Oh and the calzone is huge just fyi. If you order it for yourself, you’ll have leftovers.

One of the best places for Pizza….. They used to be in St Joseph but they moved to South Bend. If you wonder why I drive 30 mins for pizza, you have to find out for yourself because it is that good. The picture does not do the flavor justice. Two words…pizza heaven.
