This place is not your typical Korean BBQ as the food is prepared in the kitchen, but the quality of food is exceptional. We ordered Combo C; meat very tasty and tender. Excellent banchan. Attentive service. My wife even said that leaving without smelling like smoke was a nice change, especially if you’re heading elsewhere after dinner. We will be back soon.

I come to eat here with my mom a few times a month and I love this place. The side dishes/바찬 are very good—especially the salad and kimchi. The meat is grilled, and the bulgogi generally has more of a drier texture than a marinated/“juicier” one, but it pairs very well with the light side dishes. I’m not sure how to phrase it in English, but the all the sides taste very fresh and create a cool/satisfying feeling as you eat. I grew up in a Korean household and have high expectations for Korean food when I go to Korean restaurants, but Choi’s Grill has some of the best Korean side dishes & food that I’ve tried in the U.S. You can’t go wrong here. The lunchbox is only served until 3pm.

All I can say is WOW! I was so excited to find this place! I was craving Korean bbq, but was by myself running errands and didn’t want to go to an all you can eat place and spend $50, or travel to Pleasant Hill or Buford. The lunch special was just what I’ve been looking for. For $16 you get all of the food in the pic. The staff/owners were friendly and the food was delivered quickly and piping hot. I felt like I was having a home cooked meal in a warm friendly environment. The food was amazing. It was fresh and every dish was delicious . The environment is very clean and not too loud. I will definitely be coming here often.

The first time I went I got the bulgogi and ramen. The ramen is really good, but spicy. They will make it just regular and not spicy if you ask. The bulgogi was okay but not as good as the short ribs. They are now my go to. The side dishes are really really good, especially the bean sprouts. Friendly people as well. I’ve been here three times in two weeks. The lunch special is a really good deal $15.99 for choice of meat and then you pick ramen, rice and soup, or glass noodles. (First picture is the bulgogi, ramen and sides. The second is of the spicy tofu soup. It is super spicy.)

My Husband and I decided to try a new place, I’m so glad we did! If you are looking for an affordable Korean BBQ restaurant, this is the restaurant. The grill is not on the table but the meats are cooked to perfection. We selected a combination that definitely serves 3 people . Korean short ribs, beef bugoli, spicy beef bugoli, pork belly, pork bulgogi, pork shoulder. Amazing side dishes , rice, kimchi, salad spicy, spicy radishes, ginger salad, marinated cumbers the best cheesey corn. Lots of delicious food. We will definitely be back with friends.

My expectations were definitely blown away, the hospitality was amazing, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was comforting. The waitress that served me was extremely nice and helped sort out the menu for me to make it easier to decide what I wanted. The food came out in just a few minutes and was finished just as fast because of how good it was. I look forward to coming back in the future and bringing friends/family here!
