Wow. One of the best steak houses in USA and Europe. We were a party of 4 and all of us enjoyed the meals we had there. The service was great (including a chilled fork for the salad). The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, the service was spot on. Only wish that we lived nearer so could go more often.

This restaurant could be a gem just based on quality and service. However, a Friday evening visit proved otherwise. Cholla is a good value for the dollar. A casino low cost leader I can only assume. The restaurant may provide white cloth service but the setting is dated. I’m not young but decidedly felt that way in that environment. We didn’t think portions were as advertised on the steak. Hard to recommend other than a low cost alternative to a fancy steak house.

Took my wife here, for something different. We went to Cholla prime steakhouse and the service was five star awesome, the food selection was five star The drink selection was five star The experience all the way around was five star. My wife and I both felt like they were there for us, the only knock is it was a little noisy, as folks were coming in from the casino, excited about their trip. My thought of fine dining is a little bit quieter, a little bit more romantic, but hey it’s not all about me. I will definitely go back, the price was reasonable, and experience was excellent.

Overall 3 star because they have been an outstanding service and fine dining experience and a favorite for years. After not having been there for a few months, we made reservations last night and the prices are almost DOUBLE what they have been historically—menu reduced, many of the long-time favorites have been replaced. Not worth the prices any longer….especially with the location inside the shabbiest casino in AZ.

Ate there for the fourth time since frequenting the casino.Usually happy with the food, but this was a disappointing exception. Mashed potatoes came with filet were inedible. My husband didn’t want to complain and just left them in the plate. Now he absolutely refuses to return and the experience has ruled out eating there. To be honest, they looked so bad I wouldn’t even taste them.

Haven’t been here in years. Decided to go for our anniversary. Shared the chateaubriand for 2. I remember when it was $40 –4 years ago or so?? Now it is $110. Includes 2 salads and 4 accompaniments (sides) still a decent value for 2 people. We did upgrade to the lobster mashed potatoes. Probably would not do that again. Didn’t love them.

For the value and price for prime steak, you can’t go wrong with Cholla Steakhouse. Their antipasto plate and shrimp cocktail appetizers are done perfectly. Their desserts and coffee are sinful. I have been coming here for years. We have never had bad service here. The servers and staff are so friendly and accommodating.

went there 3 times in 3 months. they raised their prices 40%. we reserved a table for 4 , 4 weeks ago,for Saturday at 7p. table was not ready. we ordered 4 dishes, all cooked rare. it took 55 minutes to get the food and the place was not packed. chateaubriand is now 110 instead of 70, prices are insane. even the desserts menu is not updated on their website. 9 dollars instead of 8. also, forget the complementary macarons at the end of the meal. This place was only worth going to when the prices were reasonably, now they are just as expensive as your typical overpriced Scottsdale steakhouse. Our server was perfect as usual.

I am one of those people who for whatever reason, gets served cold food. I accept that. It becomes a matter of how the staff handles it. The wait staff was incredibly concerned and nice, and took the elk back on a separate plate to remedy the problem. The food was returned in perfect condition. Everyone at the table (4 of us) was very happy with the food and especially the little touches of sorbet and other offerings. I will definitely be back.

Had the porterhouse for 2 dinner, and creme brulee for dessert. Everything was delicious and service was fantastic! Not as many tables as you’d expect so it fills up quick. Highly recommend this place.
