They are so big! Don’t know how you can eat a whole one. You can try.

We needed to stop for a bite there were not many options. When we walked in it felt like all eyes turned to us. Obviously we stood as not being locals.

Best food I think I’ve ever had. The ONLY reason it’s not a 5 star review was the service. It took a while for the food to get out and some of the staff were slightly unfriendly.

Excellent lil pub, their fried pork sandwich was superb!! Fresh, crunchy, moist everything you could ask for! The crinkle fries also excellent. The service also excellent!

Friendly, prompt service. Freshest pork tenderloin sandwich I’ve ever had (and I’ve sampled LOTS from many Midwestern areas!) It’s a tad on the thick side for me but perfect for my my husband’s likes. Onion rings very good also!

Small town bar. First and only place we saw to eat on our way to the American Gothic. The staff was super friendly. Initially there was only one waitress who was also the bartender. We had a bourbon burger with onion rings and a christy chicken sandwich with cheese curds. Sandwiches are all stand alone, you pick the sides you want. It seems like they make things fresh there – the ranch was definitely not from a grocery store. They have some sort of clothing store in the back that has Iowa Hawkeyes memorabilia and local Chommy’s branded gear. It seemed to be doing really well with the number of people purchasing. Place had a lot of locals sitting at the bar. Not a place I would go back to given the unlikely possibility I will ever be in the neighborhood again, but a pleasant place to eat if you’re there for lunch.
