We are a small town Drive-thru Diner. Beautiful downtown High Springs is our second location. When you visit Chompers you’ll find a wide selection of fresh hand made choices. That means sliced, diced, breaded, blackened and more- when you order it! We don’t have holding boxes or steam tables babysitting your food. Try our Burgers, wraps, rice bowls, pasta bowls, seafood, sandwiches and of course our creamy ice cream choices. We have drive-thru and a walk-up window with outdoor tables so you can enjoy the relaxed Florida style. The food was pretty good, I enjoyed their fish tacos, and the fried green tomatoes were surprisingly good. I was disappointed with the “drive thru” process that they have(22min wait for our food) going on there. I would advise proper time management if planning on using their drive-thru, but I can tell you that I look forward to trying more of their food.

A great selection of food with choices that are healthy and vegetarian. Very well priced for the amount of food that we got it was amazing could not go to the other restaurants in High Springs and get as much food for this amount of money. The service is always friendly you may wait but it is cooked to order so it’s fresh. You can order online and avoid the weight by going into a line designated for ordering ahead. This is an amazing restaurant and I’m so happy that it is here in High Springs as we have been without options for so long. The other restaurant on the corner very popular place is very overpriced and this place should take over and replace the place on the corner! Please go try it you will not be disappointed:-)

Got a mushroom and swiss burger and a patty melt for my Mom and I ti share. We both really enjoyed them. We ordered onion rings for 3.99 and there was only five in there however they are big. But for 3.99 you would think you would get more than five onion rings… Other than that, it was delicious

used to love. i always get the same thing a chicken caesar salad with dressing this is the first time i’ve come home with no caesar dressing. the person i was with ordered a double bacon cheeseburger with just cheese and we checked and it had no bacon it’s gone so downhill would not recommend

I decided to go through the drive thru on opening day. The setup they have is good, and they had an employee using a handheld to take orders in line when it got backed up. The line was all the way towards main street. I waited about 20 minutes in line and about 30 minutes recieving my food, but this was expected on opening day. The menu is impressive! When the family is indecisive on what they want, try Chompers. My family ordered one teriyaki bowl, an alfredo bowl, and the gator nuggets. We were able to order such different meals from one place, which is convenient! The teriyaki bowl was delicious, the gator nuggets were addicting, but the alfredo bowl was a little bland. The sauce was a little watered down and could have used some more seasoning. The gator nuggets were cooked evenly and the grilled chicken in both bowls were nice and tender. The people were friendly and the pricing was reasonable for the food provided.

The food is good, the portions however are horrible, $4 for four pre frozen jalapeño poppers. That’s shameful if you wanna charge that for four the should be handmade. Burgers are good just no bigger than a McDouble for triple the price. If you order a burger, it doesn’t come with fries or a drink. Kids meals are laughable, more like a kids snack.
