Got kimbap and the taste was ok but the size of the roll and filling were small. I expected more filling. It was also wrapped in tinfoil which I’ve never seen before. The place inside was dreary,hot, dark and very dated. Not anywhere I’d like to dine in. I ordered to go. I was charged $14 for a small side of cucumber kimchi. Kimchi was not good at all. The lady seemed irritated I was there even tho I walked in and it was empty. The people who say this place is good have probably never been to really good Korean BBQ restaurants with quality food and service. This is like an old hood restaurant and they are loyal. Y’all can have this janky overpriced place. Never going here again.

Spicy pork dinner order came out to be $20. No a lot of food, half box of rice. The pork had a very strong odor to it made me uncomfortable to eat it. Spicy pork is always my go to with Korean food. Won’t be coming back here again.

The atmosphere was nice, it is a small place. When I got there they were only doing take out because they close at 2:30 and I arrived around 1:50 which is understandable. I got dumplings they were hot and fresh. I also got a Beef Bulgoki bento plate, but it didn’t set well with my stomach and it had a light sour taste to it. It’s my first time trying it so not sure if that’s how it should taste.

I’ll start by saying it’s pretty hard for me to give such a low rating but there is very little good about the quality of the food. The food doesn’t have much flavor and isn’t cooked correctly. Japchae is literally the worst I’ve ever had do not get that. Noodles are over cooked and is just peppers. Galbi is ok but you get like 2 ribs. Delivery you get a tiny amount of banchan. We are disappointed because it’s one of the only Korean places on this side of town. Not worth the money. Drive across town and get much better food for the same price.

Was my first time eating here. A pretty decent menu that includes most the items you would expect from any Korean Restaurant. The woman who runs the restaurant was taking orders, cooking, and serving the food the day we were there.

Portion sizes and prices do not match up. I basically just gave this restaurant 45 dollars for one kids portion. We ordered 2 lunches and an appetizer and it wasn’t good. Everything was very sweet and the size was ridiculous. I came home and ate a cheeseburger and a bowl of ramen because I wasn’t full. The lady is rude and I said thank you she ignored me. She was watching a movie in front of us while we were eating. Only thing to drink is bottled water “I said no tea”! Was her response after I asked for tea. Sorry I didn’t hear you when you mumbled and walked away. Total waste of money. And I don’t have a lot of money. For 45 dollars I could have made 2 racks of pork ribs, ramen and salad with veggies. Instead I got 3 spoonfuls of meat and some 1 spoon full of sprouts and kimchi. Really?

Nice little quaint restaurant. Feels like home. Chong is very friendly and an excellent chef. The food was spot on. Situated on the west side of town at 410 and Marbach, It’s the only Korean restaurant over here. Hopefully it gains popularity.

Went for the first time and was happy with the delicious yaki mandu, Korean BBQ pork, and bulgogi. Excellent service by Mrs. Chong. I’m so happy this is close to my house! Definitely going to become regular customer.
