A Grand Rapids gem that we had not been to so we tried their breakfast. It was a great experience that we will enjoy again. Friendly staff and customers, good food and a nostalgic atmosphere all rolled up into one small space.

We stopped here for some breakfast before heading home. The place is small and quaint. The atmosphere is inviting. We took the food for take out because I had to go to work. We had the omelette’s. They were delicious. This is a good place to eat. If you want time away from all those corporate greedy restaurants try this place. Small inviting quiet place that makes great food. I would definitely recommend

I don’t like putting in negative reviews especially with some place that’s supposed to be one of the best. But I did not enjoy our lunch at all. The onion rings and olive burger were very flavorless. At first I started to panic thinking I had covid and was losing my sense of taste lol. But then my fiance who got the exact same thing told me he thought it was flavorless as well. I could taste my Coke just fine, and everything else I’ve eaten today has been fine, it was just their olive burger and onion rings. There are only two tables in there so if they’re full then you have to sit at the counter. There are 10 stools at the counter. It was a chilly windy day and they had all the windows open and so I was also freezing. I’m sure it felt good to those who were working there by the Hot grill and all that but for someone sitting there trying to eat it was so cold. So even though I have heard they’re the best around, I don’t think I’ll ever go there again.

Easily one of the better burgers in Michigan. It’s got that old flat iron grill that churns out the juiciest burger you can imagine. Onion rings are incredible and the food is just perfect!

The Choo Choo Grill is great! The service is too notch, fantastic. The parking lot is tiny, the building is small. The inside reminds you of days gone by and it’s far from new and shiny. However the smell of a burger joint as you walk up tells you that you are in the right place. The menu is easy to read. You may open the door and wonder what you have stepped into but the food is made to order, the service is great.

Hands down one of the best burgers I have had in my life. Honestly I have never had a bad meal from here. Such a unique little throw back and you won’t be disappointed! Only wish they were open for dinner!!

Family owned since 1946. Amazing little spot with an old school diner feel.

This place is a gem. Reasonable prices and a friendly staff. The seating is very limited. My omelet was light with plenty of meat and veggies inside. The sausage Patties had a really good sage taste. The food goes from the griddle to your plate. My food stayed hot until I finished. There were plenty of blueberries in the blueberry pancakes. I added onions to my American fries. I would definitely go back for lunch.

The food was good. The service was very good. The build is old school. We brought my 12 yo grandson and two nephews, both under 6. They loved looking around at all of the train paraphernalia.

The place is very small and that’s the start of the charm for it. The staff are great friendly and work hard. Burgers and onion rings are great, if you are into breakfast I hear it’s great also.
