Always delicious omakase sushi/sashimi with beautifully plated to enjoy at home! Yellow tail roll was fantastic and to top that, strawberry matcha sando dessert was too yummy. Made me sad that sweet sando was gone too quickly. Thank you Chef Choo!

Cheff Choo’s food is one of a kind! The sushi is very high-quality where each bite is a joy. Typically at an omakase meal at other places I’m left needing additional pieces to feel full, but not with the omakase from Chef Choo; he provides generous portions of high-quality fish and other ingredients. I love how he pairs the fish with his own twists like Thai Honey Chili, Yuzu Ume Oil, Garlic Chili, Black Garlic Oil, etc. Chef Choo is our favorite omakase experience in Austin!

We’ve been so very fortunate to have followed Chef Choo’s career for well over a decade. We were so excited about his new Omakase venture. We were one of the lucky ones who made reservations for New Years Eve, and it was heavenly. The food looked like a beautiful painting… Every bite better than the first. Chef Choo’s work was more than I had imagined, I see why he has a cult following on Instagram. Such a nice fellow when we picked up our food and the fish we got in our omakase box was extremely fresh and absolutely delectable. His work is worth your money. I also enjoy his sandwiches in his normal shop, come early before they sell out!

My husband and I have been fans of Chef Choo since the Afin days and through Haru and its other names, so we were very excited to try his take-away omakase yesterday. It was amazing!! What a gorgeous expression of his craft. Everything was packaged beautifully, pickup was super quick and easy, and the quality, taste and presentation of our order was just unbelievable. This is a very special meal that I’d recommend to anyone! Thank you, Chef Choo! I can’t wait to order again, and to try the sando service, too!
