Very good if you like spicy food. I was hoping for non-spicy fried chicken for half of our family, and spicy for the other half. My husband loved everything and my one son enjoyed the spice too. However, it was a bit too much for me and my other son though. We kept eating because it was so good, but I personally do not enjoy that spicy feeling/taste. Most people do though. Good portions and size of popcorn shrimp and calamari. Very friendly atmosphere and staff.

I do consider my self a fried chicken connoisseur. I’ve been to many a fried chicken places in my lifetime. I have to say that Choong Man chicken in Ashburn is one of the best Korean fried chicken places I’ve been to in Northern Virginia. I went there on a third evening and ordered a whole chicken. 1/2 was soy garlic and 1/2 was the regular chicken. The chicken was extra crispy and juicy, just the way I like it. The soy garlic flavoring was delicious, and the flavor was just right. My mouth is watering as I write this review. I will definitely be coming back here again.

Hands down the best Korean fried chicken place i have tried. And i have been to many. The chicken is exceptionally crunchy, not greasy at all, and the flavors are great. The spicy snow onion was my favorite. A close second was the spicy garlic chicken

I haven’t had CM chicken in a long time and noticed they had a dinner combo plate. I asked how many pieces of the whole dinner chicken and the lady said 4 whole pieces. Got my order and it was a thigh cut in half and a quarter chunk of breast with an overly fried chicken wing. I’m looking at another reviewer dinner plate and it looks nothing alike. Generous portion of coleslaw and rice but the chicken pieces were despicable. Not going to go back to the ashburn location. For $16 this was not worth it, they must give good portions to their friends only.

We visited CM Chicken the other week and we had an excellent experience! The staff was friendly and very attentive, the food was excellent and the atmosphere was cozy. We had the Cheese Monster and the Garlic Spicy Chicken and the French Fries. We highly recommend this place if you are looking for Korean style fried chicken! We are looking forward to going back for the great service and the excellent foods!

The taste of the fried chicken was truly exceptional and unquestionably the finest we have encountered thus far. Regrettably, we experienced illness the next day. Fortunately, we had allocated sick days for the year, allowing us time to contemplate our dining experiences in the vicinity. Delicious chicken (garlic soy and snow onion), Cole slaw and curly fries. Perfect amount of breading and crispness. The chicken had good flavor with a little kick, but wasn’t too spicy for my intolerant taste buds. Recommend this spot over the larger chain alternatives!

This place is an absolute gem of NoVA. Hidden in the busy Ashburn plaza. As soon as you walk in you find yourself in the heart of some kdrama. Ambiance is incredible. The service and the food is exquisite. The fried chicken is so crispy and juicy delicious and don’t forget about draft beer selection! Highly recommend!
