I could not say enough good things about this place!!! I am allergic to wheat and sesame which are both usually all over this type of food. Chop Chop somehow makes food taste good without both of them! The gluten free options are amazing and there is so much to choose from(and I have never had a flare up). They are so careful and thoughtful from the separation of kitchen, to writing your name on your meal and labeling gluten free sauces with cute little stickers. This place allows me to not feel guilty when I have to choose where we eat due to my allergies because everyone loves it!

Saddened to make this review. We live close by and this has been our go to spot for the past two years. I’m not sure what they’ve changed but the food has continuously gotten worse and worse the last 3 times we’ve been. We kept trying again and because we’ve loved this place. But Egg rolls and spring rolls are always very burnt and the noodles taste like you’re eating kids playdoh. Rice is still good. But they’ve stopped seasoning their meats on the combo plates. Used to be great. They’ve also increased their prices and lowered the food quality tremendously. Friendly staff as always. Quick and efficient. But the food is just not good anymore.

I’ve been a long supporter of chop chop back in Amarillo and loved having this one around the corner from my house. I order often but lately, after the price increase, the boxes are getting less and less filled. The margins on rice aren’t that tight for the 14 dollars I paid for this. Pretty disappointing for a favorite chain of restaurant that I’ve been supporting for the better part of 18 years. Foods great, but the value keeps taking a dive.

We stopped in here July 8, 2023 for a late lunch/early dinner. We were greeted promptly by a friendly smiling, woman who explained how their restaurant worked. She was amazing! Made us feel welcome, made excellent food suggestions and sauce combinations, and was very attentive! The food was delicious and the house made hot mustard was a standout surprise! Highly recommended this place for your asian-fusion cuisine! Plus, it’s healthier and tastier most other places!

The social atmosphere was incredible! Justin was our cashier, and he did a wonderful job! He made sure our order was correct, he came up to us several times to make sure everything was ok, and he took our dishes and brought a to-go box in a very timely fashion. The food was a little too salty (specifically the kids meal), but the customer service made up for it!

Don’t have time for the cook to be twirling sparulas around? Just like the name “Chop! Chop!” And your fed and outta here! Great food without all that time consuming showmanship! I must Mention a server there by the name of Justin. He’s awesome! Great guy, friendly as can be, and jumps as soon as you give him a simple request line a napkin or so. He’s a hard worker who is happy to have a job! Come by, request him, give him a big tip! He deserves it! Don’t forget your fortune cookie. Mine was this picture. I my luck it’ll be an extended car warranty call. My life!
