Chop Shop Casual Urban Eatery is one of Denver’s premier chef driven fast casual / quick serve restaurants. Chop Shop was created with the idea that we deserve better options whether on the go or hanging out. We believe that great food doesn’t need all the complications of full service restaurant, and it should be comfortable enough to stay, hang out and enjoy a few adult beverages. Chop Shop also believes it is important as a restaurant, to make the smallest footprint as possible on the planet. We use sustainable bamboo as most of our plateware, reclaimed wine bottles as glasses, reclaimed wood for our tables, washcloths in our bathrooms, as well as real linens for our dine in customers.

This place is unreal! We tried the beef and broccoli, the burger, and the Mac and cheese. I loved every dish! Every item was cooked and seasoned to perfection. They took risks with the flavors, and they paid off big time….then there’s the fountain soda machine with natural sodas with unique flavors (for a fountain machine). Quite the nice compliment to some amazing food….Love the decor and layout of the restaurant. Needless to say, I’m coming back to try the rest of the menu.

Basic food. I thought I’d give it a try. I ordered their signature dish 48 hour short rib. The onion tinglers had more flavor than the meat. Mashed potatoes had no salt. The brine was good but not worth $24. Plus you only get a little bit of meat. This is some serious YT people food bc it had no salt. I wanted to like this. I’m very disappointed. Presentation looks good but it’s a no for me. The lady in front of me ordered the same thing and told me it’s their signature dish and how it is so delicious. Basic with minimum flavor and garlic salt could have gave this dish more flavor. Plus it was a small amount of meat for the money.

Veggie fried rice with tofu was very flavorful even better with soy sauce! Parmesan fries were a bit bland but better with salt! Chewy marshmallow bar is the best rice bar I ever had! Restaurant was clean and smelled good! I like my eggs fried hard please give that option next time!

Rolled back into town and stopped by what was one of my favorite neighborhood eateries and was disappointed this time. The chicken sandwich was on the dry side, not as flavorful as I remember. Fries were good but not hot on arrival. And I know food prices have gone up, but $25 with tip is a bit much.

We just had a delicious comfort food brunch! The fried chicken was juicy and crispy, we also really liked their meatloaf. We’ve never had salmon chowder before but it was really tasty. You order and pay by the cash register so this place is great if you are in a rush! We will be back
