We went for our anniversary and were given a nice iced cream cup with candle. We felt very welcome and the service is excellent. The food is outstanding. If I was from here I’d return…next time I visit Virginia Beach we are coming back!!!

Our first time experience here was wonderful, and Yulia made it that much better. She offered superb recommendations. Our food consisted of the fresh catch, which was flounder topped with lump crab, and lollipop lamb, which was flavored and prepared to perfection. Likely the best Lamb I’ve had. Drinks were delicious as well. We will return. We did have to “find” the location. The place is midway up the block. When you see the CBS, walk a few stores down in the same shopping center area and you’ll walk right up to it.

Our family were walk ins, and asked two waiters if we could eat outside who were already outside (only one table occupied at the time…can probably see where this is going). It was as if I was asking for free food or something with the reply of, “ohhh, you’ll have to ask our manager”. Didn’t know it was this kind of place! When asked the manager, he was super kind, as if it was strange we even had to ask. Anyway, got 2 tasting plate dinners…they were OK. Whole family drank only waters, never asked if we wanted something else. Probably a good thing because not really sure if worth the money in the end.

Have come here twice in the last 2 years and had a great experience both times! Most recently I came the Friday before Mothers Day with a party of 6 for a Mother’s Day celebration. The manager was very nice and accommodating while I booked my reservation. Our server was so nice and informative. We were a little loud catching up and didn’t leave til a little after close but everybody was still very nice to us and even took our pictures before we left! Will definitely be back again!

No trip to Virginia Beach is complete without experiencing the Chops dining experience. The food is as always exceptional and the service a phenomenal standard. The drink menu is extensive, something for everyone. The steaks made perfectly to preference. The servers are knowledgeable on the proper pairings of wine and food. Do not miss this steakhouse.

Late Valentine’s Day review: This restaurant is in a tough place to spot unless you have heard of it. It’s in a plaza that is on the left hand side of the street and super easy for o miss. It’s one block from the waterfront of VaBch (all the way down Laskin Rd).

The restaurant has a so-so vibe, it is conveniently located walking distance from the boardwalk which is a plus. The service provided by Adam was great and swift, very attentive and kids food was out in no time since they take their time to eat. Unfortunately the prices in the restaurant don’t reflect the quality of the food nor the presentation. Nothing special about their steak. The outdoor needs to have better pest control. I can imagine it is something that is hard to control but traps have to be in place.
