I’m in town visiting my parents in Charleston, WV. Found this restaurant with excellent reviews and thought, let’s check it out. I was not disappointed at all. First time trying PA Mama, fried Ramen noodles with shrimp.

We stopped in here for a meal while passing through town. It was a delightful spot. I’m sorry I didn’t take pictures of the beautiful food. Fast, friendly service. Truly delicious food. And impressively tiny fans to add to the ambiance. Would absolutely go again and recommend for anyone!

Seriously it just keeps getting better… Everytime we visit the food, service and atmosphere is exceptional. As a vegetarian this flavourful menu is completely inclusive of vegetarian tastes. The quality and quantity of the dishes are deliciously generous! My friends from NYC ate here and raved it was the best Thai food they’ve ever eaten…. They saved the contact information for anytime in the area to visit again.

Truly excellent curries! The restaurant closes much earlier than one might expect, and the dining room felt clean but was not a good experience to eat in. The five stars was for feeding me my best meal in months. Moreover, they served very generous portions. Very vegetarian-friendly and you are asked to choose your ideal level of spiciness, so it can suite you if are super desensitized or if you can sense the presence of hot sauce from across the room. I asked for “very little spiciness” and another ordered “very spicy” and said that it was not as spicy as what is served in Thailand but enjoyed it.

Chow Thai is one of the best restaurants in Charleston, WV. The food is outstanding and the customer service is wonderful. Highly recommend giving them a try whether you have time to sit down or you are on a time crunch and takeout. Also, Charleston 2 Go provides delivery service for them so if you can’t make it to their downtown location you can have Chow Thai delivered right to your door at home. We try to eat there at least once a week because it is just that good. You won’t be disappointed.

The food and service are excellent. If I could give 10 stars, I would. When they ask how spicy you want your food just say no spicy. I ordered 2 which is mild and it’s crazy spicy. 2 people with Thai tea, fried rice, $6 dessert, and Phad See Yew cost $30 and they serve big portion too. Their most well known dessert is Mango sticky rice with coconut milk. You should try that. They have menus on Facebook and also their own website.

I just recently moved to the area and am so glad that a great Thai restaurant has opened up. The spring rolls are the best that I have ever had and they are handmade along with the sauce. The prices are very fair and I love that they have brought authentic Thai food to the Charleston, WV area. There is limited seating but specialize in to-go orders and use all environmentally friendly items from the takeout boxes, forks, bags and even straws. They have been really busy so just be patient and check out their Facebook page for updated information about hours and offerings for the day. I look forward to lots of Thai food in my future.

This place is difficult to find, but once you make it there, you’re in for a real treat! The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming, and they’re happy to help you make a decision if you’re like me and not very familiar with Thai food.
