Waitress rude and speaking loudly. Had to get up and get our own refill our coffee. Waitress watched as she was drinking pop and talking to a friend. We finished our great food by the way,. Wanted pie tried to get her attention. Looked at me with no response. She finally came over saying she was sorry about the coffee which she watched and didn’t come see if we wanted anything else after 20 minutes of waiting. I told her I wanted pie 20 minutes ago just wanted the bill. As she turned around, “You need to be respectful to me. I was busy. I went up to the counter. She had an attitude through my bill at me. I gave her my card she asked me if I wanted the receipt. No She handed me back my card then told me I never gave it to me. I was mad. Gave her back the card as she insisted I needed to respectful to her. Card declined the 3rd time. She loudly told me I needed to get back here saying it loud enough for everyone to hear. Again loudly saying I needed to respect her. Nope not anymore. Asked to talk with boss, told that they were out of state and didn’t know when they were coming back. Funny I called and one was out of state. 1was not gone and was there from early morning until 2 and would be back next morning. Wow

This is one of the last “sit down for a good old truck stop meal” in the area. We almost missed out as they closed at 1:00 pm on Sunday, but they were very gracious and allowed us to order and eat without feeling rushed. Not fancy, but darned good food and service!

I wasn’t expecting much walking in but the waitresses were friendly and good at their jobs. Went with my instincts to get a burger and oh boy was it good. Price is fair for the quality of the burger and for this time due to covid. Surely I will come back again and again for the foreseeable future

Slow service. Food wasn’t good. I love broasted chicken, so that’s what I ordered. Big mistake, it was over cooked almost to the point of being black and the wing and leg had hardly any eatable meat on them. I don’t normally complain about bad food as I understand that things happen, this time I had to say something. The waitress apologized and offered me a piece of pie instead of having my order recooked. To top it off, the coleslaw had no flavor. I recommend eating at the convenience store next door. I won’t be back.
