This was a great food location in Newport! Super simple menu and the workers were really helpful. Very friendly too! But I had the Carne Asada quesadilla that came with chips and salsa. It was really tasty! The meat was great and the cheese blend had a perfect consistency. I hope I get to come back soon!

The chronic Burritos and chronic fries are delicious. Good fast sit-down place near the beach. Large portions sure the fill you up. Also has seafood options for those searching for fish tacos near the shore.

The food was good but ordering was confusing at times. For instance, they never mentioned that the fish tacos would take about 5 minutes to prepare so it seemed like they just forgot about that order, because they started taking orders from the group behind us. And they did forget to give two salsas (for chips and salsa) and forgot to make one of the meals a combo. The staff was kind however.

Visited on Saturday evening around 8 pm and there weren’t too many people as most people got their orders to go. I had the beer battered fish tacos, Baja style and they were excellent. I also had the guacamole and chips, the guac is amazing! My son had a ginormous carne asada burrito with all the fixings and he said it was great too. Overall, the food was great and at a good price. We’ll be back next time we visit Balboa beach pier.

The shrimp taco is decent, the carnitas taco is pretty bad. They’re both pretty dry and if they get the chance to go cold they become inedible. The beans are good, the rice is suuuper dry and tasteless. This place looked really good but was very disappointing.
