Place was a vibe this morning. Got very packed after 11am. The food was incredible. Tried the chicken and waffles + a Reese coffee. Also took a bite of my mom’s fish and grits. Seasoning was perfect and the grits were buttery and cheesy! Service was wonderful and the atmosphere was fun, light, and almost like a party. Music playing in the background was a mixture of rap/r&b/and some latest pop hits.

I went here to celebrate my birthday and the food was delicious. Will definitely go back. The atmosphere was nice and chill for a brunch spot and in a easy finding location. I ordered the golden fried French toast and also I think it may have been called the big daddy with the lollipop lambchops with potatoes, bacon, and eggs. I also ordered a tropical sunset as my drink choice it was delicious not too sweet and nice and fruity, exactly how I’d imagined it. They are a BYOB establishment. All of the Stagg were friendly, professionally and were able to describe their food choices on the menu with no problem. Me and my guests gave the food a 10/10. The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that my lollipop Lamb chops were a little too charred for my tasting but next time I’ll just ask not to char them as much upon ordering, but they were still juicy. My son had a chubby burger with fries and he left no parts of it lol..the fries had a delicious seasoning and his straw berry Lemonade was also delicious. lastly those strawberry hot wings were amazing. I ordered extra to go, but they were mild not too spicy and not over crispy, made just right to my tasting. They had nice r& b playing, definitely a nice vibe for a good time. Prices were fair, didn’t pat too much for a family of 5, they take out a 15% gratuity but it’s still not much for the quality of their food. They give you nice sized portions. Will definitely recommend and will go back and tell all my other family and friends to visit.

Seriously so satisfying! From the atmosphere to the friendly staff the delectable food and drinks! Not pictured was me sitting in the pink velvet couch chilling doing a happy food dance vibing out to some good jams! This is definitely going to be our new brunch spot!

I’m gonna give this restaurant 2 stars for now because the waitress was very rude, impatient, and unprofessional! She seemed to have been overwhelmed but that’s how it is sometimes working in a busy establishment. I ordered the mango lemonade to drink which I loved and the music was great as well! I also ordered the fried bang bang salmon bites, fried shrimp, with French fries. That was cold and I had to wait another 10 minutes for my dipping sauces. When I asked for them she seemed annoyed. I sent my food back with a gentleman that worked there since she was already looking like she hated our whole table. And they just dropped my food back in the grease to reheat and it was then over cooked and flavorless. Also why would you do that when I bit into one of the salmon bites and you have to continue to cook more food in that same grease. That is not sanitary at all. For my first experience I was not impressed! Food was coming out separately and again by the time you got the rest, what you had was cold. I absolutely hate cold food! But because I love to support black owned businesses, I will give them another try to see if maybe they just had a bad day. I will say if they are always busy like this then they need more help because the staff they have apparently isn’t enough. I don’t mind paying for what I like no matter the price, but 20% gratuity for bad service is crazy! And my small meal was $25 which I wouldn’t mind if it was hot and good. I would say this place is over priced and overrated but I know food is not cheap these days. All I’m asking is to get what I pay for especially since I work hard for my money. I’m hoping to have a better experience when I give them a second chance.

This place is a whole vibe and experience you should all try. I went with a group for a after graduation get together. This place is intimately fun. The wait staff is great, friendly and good customer service. There was also another group celebrating a birthday they were all the hype and the music was great.

The food was good, I really enjoyed the chicken and waffles and the strawberry lemonade was EXCELLENT. I also got a side of potatoes and cheese eggs. I think the restaurant can earn a 4 star review with improvements. The customer service was good from some staff and somewhat unpleasant from others. The food was brought out at different times so everyone doesn’t eat at the same time. My sides came earlier than my meal allowing them to get cold. I would definitely visit them again in the future with the expectation of IMPROVEMENT.

A place we’ve been looking at for a while, decided to celebrate my & another friend’s birthday there a few days after the new year and it was eventful! Music, dancing a whole good time. They were celebrating a few other birthdays as well so it got a bit loud but the vibe was good & friendly! They don’t take reservations & will seat you when your whole party arrives be prepared. We were told to choose our own seat from a young lady behind the counter no one actually sat us , so we sat in a middle cute pink booth table.

Let’s start off by saying that whatever wait time they tell you is highly inaccurate. We were told it was a 30-45 min wait; we waited 2 hours to be seated. Halfway through waiting I went in to ask how much longer and it looked like they had seated people who came after us because the hostess had to flip back to the page with our name on it. Not sure if those people had a reservation, but I tried calling to make one yesterday and no one answered the phone. We were given a QR code menu 10 minutes after being seated. The inside looks much bigger online but it’s a nice ambiance. To drink, I ordered “Just Peachy.” Very nice presentation but it tasted nothing like peach just had one slice of peach in it – it tasted more like jugo de avena con limon (this is what’s it’s called in DR) but it was still very tasty. I ordered the “Chubby Morning Sandwich” to eat and it was overwhelming. It tasted great but it was a lot so obviously generous portions. The girl that tended to us (I did not catch her name) was so nice and friendly. She, the music selection, and the food were the best parts of the experience. Everything else was a downvote. Overall, the food *was* great but I don’t think it was worth a 2-hour wait. Don’t think I’d come here again to dine in but if I’m ever in the area again it would definitely be a takeout option!
