We ate lunch at Chubby’s for the first time today. Delicious pulled pork, excellent baked beans. There are just 2 tables inside, and some picnic tables out back for use in good weather. Steady business. Great addition to the community!

Chubby’s food is great. It is not “Carolina Style” vinegar BBQ, but rather Southern Pit-style BBQ. I’ve had their ribs, chicken wings, chicken thigh sandwiches, and chicken tenders … OMG. Their fries are great, as well as their baked beans … I’ll even eat their slaw (I don’t eat slaw).

Took out wings and ribs. Sides of corn and green beans were yummy, too. They were great. Service was fast. The place was clean looking. Staff friendly. A little out of the way for us, but worth it.

The cheese and sausage appetizer was ok, sausage was burned. Chicken wings were cooked well but smothered in a BBQ sauce. Pulled pork and ribs were not evenly cooked: some was tender, some dry, and some burnt. The pork without the sauce didn’t have much flavor and we didn’t enjoy the sauce. The fried shrimp was great!

Went to Chubbys for the first time a few days ago. The portion of pulled pork was very good. The only objection I had is that it was already sauced….and swimming in sauce. I like less sauce. I will ask for no sauce next time and add it myself. So, yes I will go back….

Ordered the special of the day, chicken thigh sandwich and smoked potato salad and a peach turnover. Excellent, I for sure will be back. Nice thing is it’s only 4 miles from home. Although I would drive much further, it’s that good!!!

The meat is perfectly smoked, flavorful and tender. The side dishes are beautifully seasoned. This isn’t typical, home cooking; it’s high quality cuisine. Many steps above some highly rated restaurants I’ve patronized. We will be back!

Definetly love their food.,.. the chicken tenders, shrimp burger, fries, and boos fried peach pie are “Oh my God, now I can roll over and die!” And the divinely beautiful brunette cashier, ain’t bad herself eye-ther lol!!! Nah but very clean and friendly atmosphere!!! As my 4yr old son gave the food a thumbs up too and that’s saying something Boo 😉
