Another Chuck E Cheese for little kids in town. Bring your kids to kill some bored hours instead of the IPADs

Three of the servers behind the counter, didn’t know where the shipyard was. That was the beer that was on tap.. doorman want to keep his hands out of his mouth biting his fingernails. The place appeared to be clean. Kids had fun you can buy a card. It gives the kids about 40 minutes of games. Awesome.!

I was impressed at how clean everything was. This place has changed over the years. No stage anymore. I was bummed about that. Chuck E made his appearance! Pizza was fantastic. It wasn’t overdone. Pepperoni was fresh. Just enough cheese. The hint of garlic on the crust was a nice flavor. I had the stuffed crust-yumm! Kids had fun playing the games. The hands free payment mode for games made it easy for the kids. No more counting tickets! Wide selection of prizes. Staff was friendly and easy to locate when needed. We were there first thing in the morning so there was no crowd at all. Sunday morning 9 AM . Had the whole place to ourself!

I’ve taken my daughter here a couple of times and each time she’s gotten sick after. Everything feels sticky or slimey like it hasn’t been wiped down in ages! I remember going as a kid myself and it used to be so much fun! Its so much different now. Even the whole vibe and atmosphere has changed. I told my family that I sadly won’t be taking my daughter back.

I been going to this chuck e cheese since I was a kid! We recently had my 8 yr old niece birthday party here and it was great! The lady we had assigned to us was very friendly and attentive and the pizza was hot, fresh a delicious! It was pretty busy but it was a Sunday and there were about 4 other birthday parties besides us so it was too be expected.

Pricing for kids isn’t that bad for regular weekend or weekday fun, but parties are another story. The price isn’t gouging, but isn’t great either. $25 per child. My daughter had 18 friends go. Do the math. Not cheap. That doesn’t count food we needed to bring, like pizzas. Altogether cost us around $500.

Let’s be real. Was her for my son. Paying for game time, worth it. Food on the other hand, do not eat here. The pizza was good, but 20$ for an “extra large” pizza and all they did was cut a large into 16 slices. I mean come on , the slice of pizza was smaller than my….. ANYWAY! Food not worth it, paying for game time, beyond worth it. Do with this what you will.

I know that Covid is “over” and C.E.Cheese has MANY, MANY patrons during the day and everyone is having trouble getting help. (Of course, the answer to that is, pay more and make a few less million…) BUT, I am concerned that, even after talking with management about cleaning/sanitizing, on subsequent visits not a single employee was cleaning or wiping machines, play areas, or any high contact objects children were using. Even if they don’t have time to scrub, it takes almost NO time to simply SPRAY sanitizer. Everything else if great and I feel terrible when my granddaughter asks me, every weekend, to go to C.E.C. and I make an excuse. They have not made the commitment to health safety that they promised. It. Is disappointing.
