Docked the boat after a long day on the water. We got there right at opening around 4 to ensure we could get a slip. The environment was awesome, the food was great and the kids had a great time. Highly recommend this spot! Afterwards we pushed out we set up in the main channel to watch the sunset with family and friends..

Now where the heck am I? Somewhere on a HUGE lake in Alabama. Lake Martin, actually. After docking the boat and after seeing the LONG line, I was disappointed. This is going to take FOREVER! But it didn’t! The line moves VERY quickly. My advice – get a friend to get you a beer while you wait in line and relax. The pizza is REALLY good and the staff is quite friendly. They even served us cold water while we waited in the sun. That was kind. Fantastic views of the water. I loved it.

We’d love chucks! Best pizza anywhere. Wings are also excellent. And you can’t beat the atmosphere sitting right on the lake. Often crowded and hard to get a boat slip or a table.
