Was in the mood for some fresh manapua, so we headed to Chun Wah Kam in town. We were SO pleasantly surprised to see the colorful steamed manapua for the Easter season! They were almost too cute to eat (not)! Who can resist a hot manapua?! It totally hit the spot, with a side of pork has and crispy gau gee… so yummy!

Regular plate, split starch but only 2 entree, enough for 2 meals. $13 regular plate. Good selection 10 am but only 2 entrees at 8:30am. Take out container looks smaller.

Expensive for $13 and the food is not hot or warm but cold and been sitting all day. Their quality and quantity has gone down they don’t put as much anymore and being STINGY on their portions, been awhile since I ate here because the line is always long and takes forever to get the food and it’s not even worth it! And the person making my food was rude about explaining about half & half with my choice of starch. Only gave me two pieces of meat for beef and broccoli lol! And I found a bone in it!? ⁉️ DONT GO HERE! GO Panda Express instead at least quality and they give you much more for what pay for.

Got robbed….Will not return…Chun Wah has the worst grouchy service..but that was ok… because we loved the food…but not any more..the quality has really gone down… look at this garlic fish! Only batter and no fish…and they aren’t cheap either…

Ordered hot lunch. First time we didn’t get manpua. Going back again to get manapua. Chow fun was good.

Outstanding service and food!! The staff is knowledgeable and helped assist us novices. The food was delightful, the Manapua is unforgettable, and the Almond cookies are delectable! Thank you for a fantastic experience!

Was so Ono for manapua, pork hash etc. Havent been there only used to go to Piikoi one. Was soooo disappointed!!! For starter Signs in place didn’t make sense how the line forms. Noodles was tasteless, Only the rice cake and crispy gau gee was good. The manapua was ok but not like before. Pork hash was soooo tiny I looked like shumai instead. No personality with workers to customers. Won’t be going back there again.

Came for the manapua on 7/7 and was disappointed to learn that they had an equipment issue that severely limited the manapua available. We tried steamed char siu and it was good, but the real treasure is all of the different kinds of noodles as the name suggests. They were delicious!!

On line order. Inputted specific instructions…6 in a box x 4..and 1 dozen. Total 3 dozen. When I went to pick up order, it was packed in 3 boxes (12) each. When asked to pack as I instructed, the staff acted like I was asked them to cut off a hand or leg. Poor attitude! When I opened the box to enjoy, half of box was BURNT! Don’t WASTE your money here! Substandard service. All I ask is what I paid for! Simple!

Manapua is a Hawaiian word. It’s the shortened version of two words: Mea ʻono puaʻa which means “delicious pork thing.” Mauna puaa which means “mountain of pork.”
