SERVICE WAS AMAZING. The lady at the drive thru was polite and very friendly. The food on the other hand was just the opposite. Chicken was friend hard and dry, okra had a burnt taste and the biscuits were very hard.

That Bourbon BBQ Smokehouse Chicken is Great. This location is solid I may say. I’m from the Old Fourth Ward Atlanta so Church’s Chicken will never be the same as Auburn Ave or The West End Lee Street. But, The Covington Location got my business. These honey butter biscuits are what I remember as a kid. The Southern Style Chicken is definitely Top 3 compared to Chick-fil-A and Popeyes. My family was happy. My only complaint is that they half filled the side item containers. For almost $3 of Cajun Rice and Mac N Cheese it needs to be touching the lid. They shafted me on that so thay why they got 4 out of 5. I grew up on barely closed lids for side item servings bursting out the containers. Y’all got to do better on that. But, overall the experience was good.

The kitchens are disgusting. The area where they make the food has roaches. The toilets were broken and there was poop on the bathroom floor that sat there for a week. No one cleans the store. Dirt just collects in there. Workers are always arguing with each other like little babies. -10/10 just go to Popeyes (it’s across the street).

Me and my family drove 25 mins to get some Church Chicken , we order a 16 piece mic with 2 mash potatoes, spicy rice and okra. When we got home to eat, we noticed that we has all dark meat. Which I do not eat, we was missing one of the mash potatoes. My husband couldn’t eat the chicken because it was not fresh at all. We have never had this experience before.

Slow, rude, no customer service skills. I felt rushed trying to order which I hate. I also hate when there are deals or promotions posted on a menu or on the side of the restaurant but when you ask about it or try to order they act like u have two heads and are saying something insane. It jus really confuses me because I dont work there so Im only going by what I see. They should take things off the menu or take down old promotions if they dont want people to try to order that. But u definitely shouldnt make the customer feel dumb for asking about it. But N E way I digress. The food had a weird smell. I couldnt eat mine but the kids said they didnt notice a smell and ate their meals and enjoyed them and they were fine. I will say I waited about 15-20 mins for 3 meals but atleast the food was piping hot and appeared to be freshly made. But I will probably not return or recommend.

After waiting in line for 20 minutes, the sweet lady told me it would be 40 min to get anything because the stoves were not working. Meanwhile her lazy coworker was stuffing his face with hot food cooked with the broken ovens. How do I know, because the young man was sitting face the window playing on his phone and eating food that was so hot steam was coming off it.
