Let me tell you. I am glad this location is under new management. I’ve consistently had issues with this location and haven’t been here in months. I had a craving and went to the closest location en route to my destination. This location has changed so much. I had a small issue with my order, mainly because I didn’t communicate effectively on the cook of my chicken and Kemper (the general manager) assisted me and went above and beyond on fixing my order. Please give this location some grace as the new general manager understands what needs to be done. The location was clean, the employees were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and I enjoyed how pleasant they were as a fast food restaurant.

I haven’t been to this location in over a year and the speaker in the driveway is still GHETTO with a HAND WRITTEN sign that you have to come to the window to order. So the wait is ANNOYINGLY LONG! Not to mention the chicken was no where near fresh! The skin crumbled like dust and the meat was barely eatable. It was dry and dark brown. The biscuits looked the same and hurt my gums biting it! They need a revamp and an upgrade inside and out! Just DO BETTER people want good fresh food that we PAY FOR!!

At 11:30ish, you’d think the food would be fresh! Went to grab some lunch and never been so disappointed in my life. I ordered 3 thighs and a family bomber. Get to work and open the box, the chicken literally crumbled. It was so old and dry, the bomber tasted as if they were thrown in a microwave. They were mushy and cold. I’m wondering if this is good from the prior day, because this was totally egregious.

The location on Wesley Chapel has really changed! Hadn’t been there in awhile, the store and the lot is not well maintained and on the day I visited they were out of all beverages and apple pies (my mom wanted one). The server did give an additional chicken wing for the inconvenience but the poor wing had no meat!! Did the name change also change the quality? If this is how other stores are being ran I think this may have been my last visit. Maybe if I have the desire for Churches again I’ll try another location.

I got there about 11:30 late morning early afternoon lunch cashier was friendly my food was hot cooked to the right temperature my okra wasn’t burnt or my Jalapeno Bombers my meal was great.

So, a typical drunk night where I wanted some chicken. Why didn’t I just go to Popeyes instead! I feel so bad for cheating on Popeyes for some TRASH! I thought maybe it was just me and maybe I was sick and couldn’t taste anything. I feel like this chicken is for YT people only because of the lack of seasoning that chicken did not have. Even the hard yet diabetic sweet biscuit that came with it was a catastrophe. I will never make this mistake a third time. I’m done! Just woooow!

Where to start ? Drive thru intercom was broken with a sign posted to place orders at the window. After close to 20 minutes, wait in line the manager was attending to the front counter and drive thru simultaneously. The front door was propped open. Most likely, due to the building’s air conditioning not working. I was then confronted with the fact that there were no Buns for sandwiches as the toaster was broken! Tenders were delayed as well because the deep fryer had not been switched on to pre-heat ! I drove off !

I hadn’t had Church’s since I was in middle school and wanted to try it out. Worst decision ever. The restaurant needs a deep cleaning. The staff is unprofessional and unkempt. The food was only fit for the trash.
