We went here on a Friday I have not had Church’s Chicken since I was a kid I remember it being good but I can’t tell you what it taste like. My husband is never had it and neither have my kids so I decided a couple weeks ago that’s what we was going to have for dinner. There’s two locations in Columbus I went to this one first it is very dirty we didn’t let that deter us though. I stood at the window and the lady told me that was over a 30-minute wait for chicken she didn’t take our order after telling us that another man came to the window and asked us if we had ordered and we answered no she told us there was a but never took our. He didn’t take our order ♀️. We ended up leaving and drive into the other location the inside lobby is not open to the public so it’s drive-through only we sat in line at the drive-thru for 20 for them to tell us their fryers were down. Determined to get churches we made a second trip back to this location for them to tell us the same thing. We literally spent over two hours trying to get Church’s Chicken before we finally gave up.

After waiting almost 15-20 minutes, I ordered 5pcs legs & thighs with 2 honey butter biscuits and 2 regular mashed potatoes w/ gravy. The biscuits were hard as heck and I was only given one side of mashed potatoes (with gravy) and the other side was a cup of just gravy . I wasn’t even offered a choice between original or spicy. I should’ve just went to Popeye’s.

I used to really enjoy Church’s chicken, but I stopped buying it because the food seemed to decline. I thought I would give them a try, since I was in the area, big mistake! I bought $24 worth of chicken and sides and a lot of it went into the trash. They were out of everything just about, they were out of fries, coleslaw, and any potato. I used to really enjoy the fried okra, but none of what’s good. I learned my lesson, and now I know why I stopped eating Church’s chicken. Whoever owns this location, needs to reassess their store. Changes are needed.

She really said she wouldn’t serve me because I complained about it taking 20 minutes for my 3 piece order. It only took that long because they were having social time. Instead of fixing orders, all 3 of them the cook I assume the manager and the girl loading the food in the boxes. How can anything get done when everyone is standing around? Don’t waste your time they employers seem to only care about their own person conversation instead of feet folks out the line. #lazyemployees #gottadobetter

Trash over cooked outside barely cooked inside chicken that taste slightly rotten. The cashier told me it would be 300 dollars . It was hot in there and maybe 300 dollars would help fix the air conditioning. The appearance wasnt clean and it reaked of old chicken grease. This place appears to be run down and no one cares about too much.

OMG? When you come home and go somewhere for dinner you think it will be good but we ask for spicy you get all mild OK ? I can deal with that but when the chicken feel like a rock that you have to throw it all away that is totally unacceptable this churches went down used to be good but now it is totally horrible that is a waste of $30 and I have to go somewhere else for dinner. First time here in after a year my last time .

I arrived at 750pm, the young man taking orders said he’d be right back with me … I waited in the drivethru for 10 mins, only for the young man taking orders to say they were closed – per their location hours, they were to be open u til 9pm. I was so upset. I just wanted fried okra. This is the last remaining Church’s in the city and I understand why. Poor customer service. Why stall just to say you were closing 10 mins later? While driving away, the window attendant was starring out the window smiling at me. Annoyed is an understatement.

The fryer isn’t working and they don’t tell anyone and cars are lined up at the drive thru. The other church’s in Columbus don’t have spicy chicken, biscuits, jalapeno cheese bombers, got sauce or Cole slaw. If you ever want church’s chicken in Columbus call first

Staff was very rude and unpleasant when I picked up my take order orders. She didn’t wear her badge I asked for her name and she gave me an attitude. New management new crews need to be trained or else. Never coming back again.
