I asked for #1 spicy asked for Mac n cheese with it rather than fries. Then my drink i asked for cherry coke both was .50cents EACH ADDED and I wasn’t told that. The chicken didn’t taste good at all no taste really didn’t have a taste. The old church’s is gone these foreigners buying them and changing the recipe. I’m never going to the one on Lake June ever again. Go at your own RISK!!!!

Yuck. I got the 8 piece dark meal. It was terrible, the chicken was hot, but it tasted like they didn’t add any seasoning. So bland. All you could taste was the oil. I see why they didn’t have any customers in line. The apple pie was good. And churches prices have increased a lot. I’m done with churches chicken. They were really good back in the day.

Ok so I have always loved Church’s Chicken especially as a kid/teen. When I became an adult they fell way off with service, food, cleanliness, etc. That’s why some of them closed. I say that to say this…. The Church’s Chicken on Lake June in Balch Springs is the only one I go to now. It doesn’t matter that I can pass at least four or more on my way there. The service I receive now that the rude Hispanic lady is gone is amazing . Mr.Muhammad is now the manager if not the owner of the establishment. He is very fair and nice. The staff he have is great also. Now about the food even though the prices increased due to the economy, The food have been delicious and hot everytime I have went. I’m in love with their biscuits!!!! I’m not a bread / biscuit eater I usually would just throw them out the window for a dog or cat to eat. But since the change in management I have been ordering EXTRA biscuits!!!!! They are exactly how I remember them as a kid/ teen!!!!! I kid you not today when I went through the drive-thru I had already ordered so I went and parked and went in and got some food for my siblings. I was telling Mr.Mohammad how much I love the improvement he has done to the restaurant, staff and food. And ESPECIALLY THE BISCUITS!!! There was a guy in the drive thru who heard me and said he wanted 5 extra biscuits just because how enthused I was about them!!!! I know this is a long review but if u tried them in the past with that rude Hispanic lady, and was disappointed all the way around try them again you won’t be disappointed!!!!

Forgot lettuce on sandwiches. No honey. New chicken bites are nothing like the picture. Terrible experience. Waste of money. No value whatsoever. Workers dont understand English at all. To top it off we got 3.5 not 4 pies. What a joke. Not even worth my time.

I ordered a 12 piece and they messed it out. The chicken was very bland. They didn’t give me my spicy chicken. I went back the next day for them to replace it a little. Hispanic manager with glasses was very very rude. This place is a joke.

The manager is curt, the cashier still training, but I got 10 pcs spicy chicken for $11. Real food, unlike taco bell, where the cheese isn’t cheese, the meat isn’t meat, burger joints that serve bread the birds won’t eat, and pizza joints that serve shrinking pizza with 1 1/2 inch crusts around them, I know chicken is expensive, but considering that the CDC is culling flocks for being at- risk for avian covid, and the EPA is shutting down poultry farms because birds naturally produce ammonia and nitrogen, valuable fertilizer in a nation that is making food and energy production illegal, I hand it to churches for holding the line. And alot of locations are permanently out of spicy, not this one. The store was spotless, the dining room always open, unlike the jack in the box on the same block with a forever closed dining room to save us from monkey covid. I got what I paid for. Actual deep-fried meat. Enjoy while you can
