Well, for starters, this is the worst Church’s I’ve seen based on looks. The lobby is empty, the drink station is closed, which is ridiculous, being that covid ended, the restrooms are extremely small, and the soap dispenser is broken, meaning no one is washing their hands! The workers are wonderful!!! They’re quick, responsive, nice, and professional, but they could definitely use some help. Being that this is a lower class area, I’m sure there’s people who can use a job in the area!!! I’ve always loved Church’s, and the food never disappoints, but this one just needs a makeover badly!!!!

The service at this location is always okay, but not great. I tried the peach cobbler today and it was also okay. It’s just a honey butter biscuit covered with peach pie filling. Texture wise, it doesn’t really remind me of a peach cobbler.

I’ve went to this location 3x’s previous as there’s not another Church’s location in Duncanville. The previous visits weren’t the best but not worthy of a review. Well on today 8/1/23, I had to comment! This location has young people with POOR Customer Service and doesn’t appear to be the most sanitary. Not sure if it’s a lack of training or simply just not caring. Two guys behind the counter were standing behind a door giggling and peeping as I stood at the counter. After standing there about 20 seconds a young female finally took my order. After placing my “Tenders” order the older guys drops them in the fryer. I couldn’t help but observe the younger guy still joking and playing with the young lady and the older guy. Finally once my “Tenders” were completed the older guy placed them on the fry bin, instantly took out his phone,stood there looking at it and began texting. Mind you I’m in the lobby viewing this,, not in the drive-thru. Long story short–today was my LAST visit.

Seriously the worst service even with all the other bad chains around. Food was supposed to be ready at 7:36, but they hadn’t even started it when I arrived. I waited nearly 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me at the counter, then they started making the order. After 10 minutes, they decided to make the apple pie, which they said takes a long time. At 7:56, I just left and won’t be back.

I really like Church’s Chicken but it’s hard to find a restaurant where the people actually treat you like you’re somebody. Every Church’s I go to it seems as if they didn’t teach any of the employees customer service. They really act as if they don’t want to be there and if you ordering something it seems as if you’re bothering them when it’s their job but even if you in the Drive-Thru is the same thing so I don’t go there as often as I would like to because of the atmosphere but the chicken is the same so I guess I have to give one up for the other one. But it would be nice if you can go into an establishment and get treated like a person.

Had to wait at the window to pay for my order, then had to wait longer because the order hadn’t been put into the computer and they had to drop the tenders. My son biscuit looked like it was caramelized instead of being a honey butter biscuit. Like what in the world happened to that biscuit???
