My chicken tenders were not only pale and weak, but it was handed to me by a slightly racist employee as he was using broken, condescending Spanish with a co-worker who was very clearly capable of understanding and speaking English. We were visiting during the lunch rush, so the wait was understandable, but the service was lackluster, the kitchen was blatantly unclean, and most employees seem to be working in a daze, unsure about their path in life or the work they were doing. Don’t patronize this location. The Church’s in Dickinson, on the other hand, is excellent, and worth the drive from this swamphole.

So the woman here could barely understand a dang thing I was saying. I don’t know if it was the speaker, the line, or both. But she messed up my order 12 times before I got frustrated and left. Normally I’d just leave it be but this is the 5th time it’s happened. Won’t be returning to this one. This Church’s is quite literally falling apart. When they do get your order, the food is adequate. It feels like they’re in a rush and don’t cook the food properly.

The food was Terrible I had orders 20 piece mixed with spicy and mild chicken for 20.99 with mash potatoes, cole slaw and macaroni and cheese and a dozen of biscuits. I had also got 1/2 gallons of Tea and Lemonade. I asked for the chicken to be fresh they said it will be a 20 minute wait I said that will be fine because I wanted my meal fresh my order was brought out to my car in 10 minutes. When I got home the chicken was burnt because they had put the chicken that was already cooked back in the grease and made it looked like it was cooked fresh. The chicken was hard . I live 5 minutes away from the place I will never go back to this place again . The Mac cheese , cole slaw was bad only thing was good was the mash potatoes and biscuits. I went to this place on Tuesday or Wednesday of this week. I paid 38.81

Spicy Chicken strips were excellent. They gave me regular at first, but manager was quick to fix it with a fresh meal. Fries were nice and crispy. Biscuits were so good! Everything was great, will be happy to return. Worth the trip from Galveston.

The employees are Great. Smiles, kindness, and patience were extraordinary and above. My family and guest = 6 were comforted and very happy with all. Environment and people were peaceful and ????? Great location and food. Oh yeah, food is fresh, hot and well done. Thanks.

Not sure if the girl working in drive through is slow or what. I swear it was like I was speaking another language, she literally knew nothing. Like she was not comprehending nothing I was saying. Order was completely wrong. Didn’t have to time to sit & wait for it to be fixed but they have to do better here.

Had to wait on a new batch to fry. But all in all the young lady server was so energetic/ kind….telling us jokes and offering water while we wait. Hope she stays there forever! The chicken was extra delicious/ piping hot ….didn’t mind waiting!!!!

I’ve heard great things about Church’s Chicken. Probably picked the wrong outlet to try some for the first time. I think its important not to compromise on letting the chicken get cooked well as compared to cooking the chicken fast. I wouldn’t mind waiting a little longer for that. This particular batch was undercooked and really irritated our tummys. Hope to try a good one later on 🙂

‘Literally” I rechecked my order decal several times to reassure it was Church’s & no name change via owner, franchise or merge with another….. I see Church’s decal but my mind told my taste buds ocean, bay seasoning… All my life I’ve never had fried Crab Chicken except today & my last experience too! I’ll never be able to Church’s again..
