Fantastic Indian food with lean, stewed meats, fresh vegetables, perfectly balanced spices at a very fair price. I had the lamb dinner for $13 and I was blown away. Save room for a traditional dessert. A terrific change of pace for a healthy and tasty meal. Friendly manager — these guys appreciate your patronage. Nice!

My husband and I love coming to Chutney! We love their seek kabob and grilled chicken. The owner is warm and welcoming, and I enjoy talking to them! Overall, the restaurant is a hidden gem! It’s must try!

Great place for a quick and affordable Indian lunch. The chicken kebab wrap is $8 and flavorful and filling plus you can choose a variety of sauces. A tasty lunch option for dine-in or on-the-go.

The food here is interesting. I got the chicken tandoori combo, which comes with rice, salad, and naan. The garlic naan was awesome, I LOVED the amount of cilantro and garlic that was used. The chicken was also great! Definitely that clay oven flavor to it. The rice… honestly, a bit bland. I’m used to Indian places using every spice known to man, so I was very surprised to see barely any spice on the rice. The salad is a tiny bit of lettuce, and sliced carrot and corn.

So far the worst Indian food I’ve tasted since moving to LA (out of about 6 so far). My tikka masala curry was more like a tomato soup… very disappointing. I liked how I could see the kitchen- it’s very clean and the food seems fresh, but don’t serve me that and tell me it’s curry I wish they didn’t include the naan in the price cause the portion of rice and curry is kinda small, but after they include the naan and shredded lettuce that I guess is a salad it can seem fair, but I would have rather paid $20 for just rice and curry and add a naan for more money if desired

Great food, fast and friendly service, amazing value. I had the lunch special grilled chicken. It was perfectly cooked and their sauces complimented all the flavors very well. I will definitely come back for more another day soon.

I used to be a regular here back when I lived a few blocks away. I would come and watch the Lakers games with Arif. I can honestly say I’ve eaten here like 30 – 40 times over the past 12 years, and I’m always left satisfied. Whenever I’m back in the area, I try and swing by. If you are unsure of what to get, try the chicken tikka masala, its a classic. The lunch specials are pretty affordable. Be warned the parking lot is impossibly small and usually packed due to the Subway next door; I usually just go straight for the metered parking on Pico, much easier.
