We went to this restaurant for dinner on a Sunday night and found the food here to be decent. We love Indian food and have dined at many Indian restaurants in Seattle area. We felt that Chutneys falls somewhere in the middle, maybe slightly above average. The menu itself is pretty comprehensive and we liked the biryani in clay pot. The garlic naan was a little plain. We felt it would taste better had it had a stronger flavor.

Chutney’s just reopened after a renovation. We had a wonderful meal here. The food was delicious and perfectly spiced. Presentation and service was quite good. The crowd is small since I think most people are on aware that they have re-opened after a 4 to 6 week closure for massive renovation . One side-note is they use stripe for cashing out and they automatically included the tip for two of us. Since we didn’t get the check to look at, we ended up double tipping. Just an FYI. Given this economic environment, where servers are hard to come by I wasn’t going to fight it.

The new Chutneys will blow your mind (and taste buds) away!! Nice new interior decor, very attentive service, and OMG, what tasty food!! Glad we brought guests visiting us from Dubai over here over some very fancy Seattle alternatives!! Despite the very high quality Indian fare our guests are used to in Dubai, they were highly impressed, and they said it was the best Indian food they had had since landing in the US ten days ago (including San Francisco, Fremont, San Jose). Loved it, and will definitely keep coming back!!

Chutneys is a great place to go for a casual Indian meal. The food is affordable, and the portions are generous. I especially enjoyed the vada pav, which was crispy and flavorful. The kofta and paneer kadai were also nice, and the dynamite baby corn was surprisingly good. However, I was not a fan of the chocolate brownie sizzler. The pairing of strawberry ice cream with rose syrup was a bit too much for me. I would have preferred vanilla ice cream instead.

We have been looking for a good Indian restaurant in Seattle area with a nice ambience. Chutneys is the first restaurant that checks all the boxes. The ambience is nice to have a special occasion dinner whether it’s a date, birthday or friends visiting from outside Seattle. The food was delicious – starters, main course and dessert – everything was great! There were a few concerns about breads coming out a little lukewarm, but it was promptly addressed by the manager and it was replaced with fresh warm breads. Overall a great experience and definitely recommended.

If you’re in Seattle, don’t miss Chutneys! The food here is an experience to not miss!! We were a group of six who ordered over 8 dishes. Every dish had a unique flavor with an authentic twist. Thanks to the team! We loved it!

Went there on Saturday night when it was super busy. It is recommended to make a reservation if you are visiting this place on a weekend. The place was super noisy and loud music mixed with the noise gave me a headache.

We recently had the pleasure of dining here and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The moment we stepped in, we were captivated by the amazing ambiance. I think they recently made renovations. When it comes to taste, this restaurant truly knows how to impress. The Matka biryani was a standout, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavors, the Paneer Kadai was with the perfect balance of spices and the Rumali Roti was soft & thin. The staff was attentive. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their culinary delights.
