Everything was fantastic. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was ready quickly, and everything tasted fresh and well prepared. Seriously a great wood fired Margarita pizza. With a simple pizza, it was apparent that they are using good ingredients and baking it right. I’ll bring the kids next time.

A casual pizzeria, where they prepare fresh Neapolitan pizza from scratch in brick oven. One pizza is more than enough for two people. We got ourselves a ‘primo’ and that was great, if you love meat. Pizza was good, however, the highlight was the cannoli. This was by far the best cannoli I have ever had in Memphis area. The hand rolled cannoli was crunchy on the shell. The creamy, ricotta filling inside was super tasty with pistachios on top. This was not too sweet, and perfect. I highly recommend you to at least try the cannoli.

Was just fine, my husband enjoyed his pizza; my daughters had Alfredo pasta but it’s not very good, my caprese salad they gave me the green part of the tomato so it was a little disappointing. The attention was excellent, the girl at the box is super friendly and attentive.

This is one of the best pizza place in the Memphis area, with authentic wood fired pizza hiding in a nondescript shopping center on the edge of Collierville. Their pizza oven is a tile covered work of art, and their pizzas are cooked at 900 degrees, ensuring you’ll be eating soon after you order. We love this place, even with the 40 minute drive from our house. Our exchange student from Italy says it’s the best pizza she’s had in America if you’re questioning how authentic it is. Pictured is the ricotta pizza, but I think my favorite is the Bianca with roasted garlic. Or the Margherita. Go treat yourself and check it out. *Ive read the less favorable reviews and I can’t imagine anyone saying they can’t read the wall menu or didn’t love everything. I’m adding a few more pictures!

1st time visiting with friends. Great location off Poplar in Collierville. Large menu displayed so I kinda didn’t know what I wanted. The house salad and mazorella patties were good, but the wings were a big miss. The pizzas were ok. We got to the restaurant around 5ish thus maybe 3 customers dined in. An hour later, it was packed with no seats available for dine in plus the line was outside! Guess everyone wanted pizza.

This was my second time at ciao baby and probably my last time coming. The first time I came, the meatballs and parm pizza were amazing. The dough was a little soft and chewy so it’s different but it was still good. My husband and I came back a second time and this time my pizza was super watery and soggy to the point where it wasn’t edible. My husband asked them if they could do anything about it, and one of the employees, possible the owner, quickly got defensive and raised his voice at my husband saying that’s just how the pizza is and there’s a sign stating that. The sign says the pizza is soft and chewy which I get that, but my pizza this time was watery… he did put it back in the oven but it was still extremely watery to the point where you can soak up the water with a paper towel. The meatballs are really good, but i hate when businesses don’t appreciate their customers who are supporting and recommending their business. There was a better way to handle the situation vs causing a scene…. We aren’t the type to typically ever say anything but the pizza was truly not edible. Pictured is the park pizza I got the first time and the parm pizza I got this time where you can clearly tell it’s watery.

Stop in here today to taste the food after someone recommended it. Its a smaller restaurant and was easy to find. The menu is extreme which was a little intimidating because I didn’t know what to order. So I went with something I knew I would eat which was a salad and the Primo pizza without the meatballs. The salad was big it could feed two people and I wish it came with more dressing. I also tried the Cannoli with pistachios and that was delicious. The servers were very nice and answered all my questions and my food came out very fast. I would recommend this place if you want different types of pizza cooked in a brick oven.

After seeing this pizza place pop up, I was really excited to eat here. I tried really heard to like this dining experience but it was a rough start. First off the menu wall is really crowded and hard to narrow down up close. Nothing sticks out and the universal font was challenging for old eyes. The staff was kind, but not really helpful. Sadly the young man who took my order put my customer number INSIDE my glass. Yuck. Let’s hope they clean these after everyone touches them. Next PEPSI fountain drinks were the only soft drink option (a big no-no in the south). After referring to the TV and asking if football was on, I received a curt reply sharing he can’t change it. On the opening weekend of college football, sadly the food network and loud Italian music wasn’t what I was looking for.

The pizza is always really good here. I really like their marinara sauce the white sauce is okay. We tried one of their newer pizzas the andouille Louis with peppers onions and sausage. I really liked the flavors and textures. The wings were okay but not my favorite. They were too tough in my opinion but the sauce was very good. We had the mustard vinaigrette. The service was great the owner has greeted us personally each time we’ve been and really seems interested that every customer is happy with their experience.
