It’s a great spot to stop and have a quick bit to eat. The staff is extremely nice and attentive. I really enjoyed the breakfast. Egg, hash borwns, sausage, and toast. Check out their gift corner. Local honey for sale, and it’s delicious.

We tried this place on a whim in June when our favorite restaurant was closed for a private event. We were not expecting much from a brand new restaurant, but we were absolutely blown away. The menu, food, service, and atmosphere were all spectacular. We got to eat on the gorgeous patio under gorgeously lit trees reminiscent of Italy. I particularly enjoyed the grilled octopus (which is hard to come by in Omaha) and the PEI mussels (which are hard to come by fresh). For our entrees, I had the Fettuccini Frutti Di Mare and my date had the Bolognese. My entree was a little too spicy for me but was perfect for my partner, and the seafood in it was decadent. The bolognese was also wonderful – very nicely flavored and the perfect portion size. Our cocktails – the lemon basil martini – also tasted beautifully without overwhelming. It is not the cheapest restaurant in the area, but the prices are more than worth the experience. I consider myself to be quite a foodie and therefore hard to please, but after one meal, Cibo Vino has secured a spot at the top of my list! Can’t wait to dine here again.

This building is a very beautiful space, and has lived through many incarnations, so we were very excited to see something new. New *and* Italian.

My husband and I have been waiting for this place to open. Made a reservation opening night. It did not disappoint. We started with a few of their cocktails and then switched to wine for dinner. The wine list is extensive and we were able to pick a bottle that paired perfectly with what we were going to order. They do small plates of pasta which is great because we could pick a few different pastas to try and not be too stuffed for our entree. We started with the grilled octopus that was cooked perfect and the mushroom ravioli which was clearly handmade. Both were delicious! We also got an order of focaccia which so good that we had to get a second order. My entree was chicken piccata and I thoroughly enjoyed it. My husband ordered the fettuccine frutti de mare. I will say I had a little bit of plate envy because his was exceptional. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and the flavors were spot on. For dessert we had the scratch made cannolis with house-made ricotta filling. Everything was so good. The service was great. Even though it was opening night you definitely couldn’t tell from a service standpoint. We will be going back very soon.

Let me first say, throughout the meal, most of the food was fantastic. I would recommend Cibo to anyone looking for a good pasta dish. However, risotto can be a tricky dish to get right and unfortunately, the chef tonight missed the mark. It would seem that the wrong type of rice was used, which led to the absence of starches in the sauce and a wet “fried rice” type of dish. Arborio rice should be used and simmered slowly allowing the starches to bind the sauce together to make it creamy and fluffy. This rice also was quite a bit overdone and mushy. The shrimp in this dish were also overdone, but shrimp that large can very delicate so it’s forgivable. All that being said, every other dish was made excellently.

Ordered wine and the bolognese and it did not disappoint. Sat at the bar and food came out quick. The Cesar salad was large, even though I got the small. Bartender was attentive and nice to talk to. Highly recommend.

Beautiful atmosphere- warm tones, natural lighting and with live foliage. Pleasant music not too loud enough to hear but not overwhelming enough to not enjoy table conversation. Food was delicious and prepared to accurate temperatures. Loving the small pasta accommodations on the appetizer page! Paired with a starter salad was the perfect combination, no food went to waste! Service was prompt and pleasant. Would most definitely recommend!
