One of the best Italian joints in the city. Absolutely nailed every dish that we ordered. We went as a group of 6 and got the starters for 6 people. None of us could actually even eat our main course / pastas. Very attentive staff and overall a perfect evening. Great find and would highly recommend!

My mom is in town and we ate here for dinner last night. It was awesome, Bridgette was a gem. The wine was great, the beverage selection was wide. We were surprised that we were one of a few tables filled up. We’re definitely going back.

Fabulous! With the restaurant entrance just south of the entrance to the amazing Divine Lorraine, Cicala does not disappoint. The restaurant is spacious, artfully decorated – paying homage to it’s historic architecture. The waitstaff was impressive and attentive. I can’t begin to rave about the food. From the soft assortment of bread with the perfectly crispy crust, the perfectly apportioned appetizers to the authentic fresh pizza, it was perfect. We sat outside, in the gated side patio under large umbrellas. The only drawback was the challenging nearby intersection where eager travellers and motorcyclists honked or raced along Ridge Avenue.

Went with my wife for four celebrations, our birthdays together, late Valentine’s Day celebration and wedding anniversary. Everything was great from food, ambiance and service. Definitely the chef-Matt needs to have a monetary increase for the phenomenal food. Every details of the food was on point from the starter to entree meal up to dessert. We love everything!!!! Also, compliments to a great server, Amy. She needs to be recognized publicly because of her exceptional job. She should be in a higher position to orient new servers how to be a better servers!!! Definitely will recommend this place because of the awesome food, ambiance and service.

Where can I begin? From the moment you walk in this place is beautiful. It’s cozy and intimate. The staffs greetings are warm and welcoming. A friend and I were able to sit in the lovely booths. We got a bottle of wine followed by an app, pizza, two pasta dishes and dessert. Words cannot describe what an incredible experience I had. I will recommending this place to everyone!

We ordered the eggplant appetizer, and lasagna. The eggplant was good. Three small balls, tasty but certainly not representative of the price in taste or quantity.

Cicala at the Divine Lorraine is a beautiful restaurant. We went on a Wednesday and had the entire restaurant to ourselves. While we had our vaccination cards/ID ready, we were never asked per the new city mandate. The food really was amazing, except…

Really awesome dinner at Cicala. First highlights are the cocktails, all of which were phenomenal. Appetizers including the Salumi board and the fall caprese were really good. Pasta is obviously a key player here – the crepes, tortelle and gnocchi were all killer. Duck entree was really good, though the sides were probably the weakest component of the whole meal. All in all, will be back!

Restaurant is overall strong but can be inconsistent. I have had some exceptional dishes here (one of my favorite pork dishes a few months ago), as well as some that I thought could use improvement. However, after being told that I didn’t fully enjoy a dish, the staff readily replaced it.
