I’m a little conflicted writing this review, but Ciccino really fell short of the ratings here. The staff was quite nice and attentive, the ambience is great especially for a date night, and the wine list is extensive (no hard liquor). We got a couple of pastas and starters to share. For the price (at least $30+ per entree), the food fell short as the portions are tiny, and we weren’t blown away. You’re better off grabbing some delicious pasta at my hidden gem favorite Serafina.

Amazing spot in Nob Hill for northern italian dishes. We had Focaccia, Caprese, Lamb Ragu, Ravioli Carbonara (stole the show), passetelli with porcini mushrooms, and the pana cotta. We came for our anniversary and the service was incredible. Highly recommend.

What an absolute gem! We travelled from the U.K. and did our homework in advance .. ! Very simple but sophisticated restaurant.. the minute you walk in you sense a great calm energy about the place and team .. The food was sensational one of our best meals in recent years anywhere .. certainly our best in US on this trip. I almost hesitate to write this review in case too many people find this establishment.. I hope they don’t expand and keep it simple.

Best meal I’ve had in SF within the last few years. Besides the flavor of the food, the textures really enhanced every bite. Excellent wine selection too. Party of 5 and we ordered scallops, salad, steak, duck, and pasta. Oh and two desserts that were also excellent. I’m coming back on my next trip!
