Very nice and helpful staff. I was craving biryanis and for about 16 dollars the quantity exceeds what I find elsewhere. The style of the biryani is Bangladeshi. They also do not offer masala. I found it to be decent and had a good flavor that was consistent throughout. It was not spicy and the flavors were not at that wow factor where I would salivate and dream about the place but they did a good job

Great tasting, well seasoned, perfectly cooked and authentic food served in very large portions. Friendly staff. The prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food. They did not have a/c so it is uncomfortably warm in the summer. It’s cafeteria style and not at all fancy. Just your basic takeout counter with a few simple tables and booths. It is clean and they had a large table for bigger families.

I stumbled upon a hidden gem. Cilantro offers amazing home style Bangladeshi HALAL food. It’s a small no frill shop but the food here is absolutely delicious. If you have never tried Bangladeshi food, stop now and go check it out.

This is to suggest to customers that live by this restaurant. We saw the menu and everything is so attractive.we arrived and were met by a nice lady the one issue was that there is no AC and its a hot summer and we couldn’t stay nor take out because we don’t live near. It’s a pretty good place for take out until they get AC going.

We had not visited this place in a couple of years. It used to be wonderful. This time, we were very disappointed. The place was not clean. Since the air conditioning was broken, we got our food to go.

The chicken biryani special is excellent. The jhaal beef and shahi chicken are good too, the entrees come with rice and the portions are huge. It’s a little on the spicy side. Ordering is quick and to the point. The prices are fair and the food comes out at a reasonable place. Highly recommended.

On our way to Summer Weekend road trip, we decided to go to Virginia Beach, VA, (381 miles away from NY & about a 7 hours drive without any break ). Since we always prefer HALAL food for outside meals, I searched Halal places near by me, and surprisingly found this Bangladeshi restaurant. @Cilantro Bangladeshi Bistro

I encourage everyone to check the most recent health inspection on the city’s website, which noted a long list of poor practices and the presence of cockroaches and rodents. Until someone new comes in and cleans this place up, I can no longer eat here. The average rating of this restaurant no longer reflects the service or food being offered.

A truly hidden gem. I love that we stumbled upon this place. Their food is amazing. If you haven’t had Bangladeshi food before, you have to try it! We got our food to go. I had enough food in one order for 3 separate meals. Definitely great to pick different dishes to try and save for left overs.

Food is very good. Flavors are excellent. However, post pandemic they’ve removed lunch pricing and specials. Also noticed you get less protein and more rice while paying more. Hope when inflation drops, they will adjust their prices down.
