Cilantro Taco Grill (CTG) was established in June of 2013 in the Chicagoland West Suburb. CTG was founded by Temoc Morfin, a Mexican immigrant who arrived in the U.S. in the early 80s in search of the American Dream.
Over the years, Temoc and his family opened several more CTGs all over the Chicagoland area, mainly the West Suburbs.
Today, thanks to our customers CTG is thriving with more than 15 locations.
Temoc´s family works alongside him, carrying on his legacy and honoring his father, Don Javier who is the family’s inspiration and is displayed and honored on the wall of every CTG location

About 30 minutes ago I ordered food from this place. Didn’t check until I got home because I was very clear as to what I wanted. So disappointed to see my order was wrong. I don’t eat red meat, only chicken. I open my food and I see an asada taco. I’m disappointed because it’s not the first time something like this happens. I get that it’s busy at times but this time it was empty. Employees need to be careful when making food because some people are allergic to certain foods.

I moved to lombard 3 years ago and this place was my favorite place to get authentic hispanic food. Their quality of steak and portions where worth the cost. Unfortunately, after visiting 4xs the last month or so, my family and I have decided not to come to this location anymore, even though it’s super close to home. Their portions have gotten smaller, their rice seems re heated in the microwave, their fat in their steak tacos and the meat is cold along with the beans and rice. It seems like they staffed either their family or hired kids, who care less about customer service. They all look sad and disappear after your food is given. Leaving you waiting for someone to walk back in front to service you. Cleanliness in the restroom is horrible and you can tell things have been spot cleaned and not cleaned properly. It’s really sad because we absolutely have loved this locations for the last 3 years.

I am giving it 1 star as I’ve goma here more than once and food is just terrible. It is not like other cilantro’s. I’ve gone to 3 different ones aside from this one and they’re all good. This one however is just lacking everything from taste, to food being cold, to the rice being stale. This is the closest one to my house, but I won’t go to this location.

The food is really good but the portions are really small and even when you add extra meat, it really doesn’t feel like you’re getting enough food for the high price. so I’m willing to give them one more try but if I’m still disappointed, this is definitely going to be it
