Big Money Commissions
If I could give no stars, I would. My daughter and I eat here once a week but today they lost our business. My daughter had the arroz texano and almost broke a tooth on a bone that was in her food. That item does not have bones nor does their menu state there may be bones in any item listed. She orders it almost every time we eat there. The waitress took the bone that was on the napkin to the manager at the front who was sitting at the register and told him about it. I watched him look at us then get up then sit back down. The waitress came back and said he would give us 10% off. That I found absurd. If her tooth is cracked he will be paying a dental bill. When we walked up to pay the bill, he asked for the full amount and I spoke up and said no it’s supposed to be 10% off, then he said he didn’t know it was us which was a lie. He knew cause he looked right at us when the waitress was speaking to him about it. I told him there was no reason for a bone to be in her food and he said that was normal for bones to be in the food, it was a normal thing. He acted as if he didn’t care my kid could have broke her tooth, or choked and died. So I’m not gonna care about leaving this review. He shouldn’t even be a manager or owner or whatever his title is. He does not need to be in the restaurant business at all. He couldn’t even apologize for the incident. Sir you really should take lessons in hospitality.

We got guacamole and it was brown. I got nachos and the lettuce was brown plus I ordered onions on the half order of nachos and they charged 2.99 for just the onions. The tea was good though. Won’t be going back there!

I love cilantros and was so excited to find one in Claxton today! The food was delicious, though my husbands burrito was still a little cold. Our server was efficient and polite. But there was definitely some employee drama being discussed in the corner booth in the main dining room All 5-6 of the females on duty were sitting down arguing over how one of them had accidentally wronged another, how a simple apology apparently wouldn’t solve the issue and they weren’t sure how to proceed. We were sitting on the opposite side of the room and could clearly hear the discussion. Surely there was a more appropriate time or place.

My friend and I came at 2:30 pm on 5/25. Soon as we walked in, we walked out. It reeked of molded, meldey smell. This was not the usual Mexican food smell but of old mop water. Made us gag, we left.
