Fatboy wonder
So this spot is across from the Hyatt and was a quick food option. I walked in, expecting a small restaurant and got a small grocery store or Bodega. They had fruit, fresh meat, and canned foods. I asked for tacos, and they directed me to the back. I was unsure but continued to the back and found the small restaurant that I was expecting. I was met by someone who was working in the front. Half in the room half in the kitchen, she asked what I wanted and retreated in the kitchen. I immediately heard the grill sizzling and waited for about 2 whole minutes, and she appeared with my order and receipt. I was shocked it came so fast. Not expecting much, I took the food back to the room. It was very tasty. Fresh ingredients and tasty sauce. I will order here before I go.

You will have to follow hand written signs to the restaurant in the back which is always manned by the moodiest teenager. God I love this place.

I’ve tried to give this restaurant multiple chances and each time I’m dissatisfied. My bf and I both picked at our food because it so bad we couldn’t finish it. I got the enchiladas and the rice was slimy and hard at the same time. Plating was awful it looked like they threw everything on the plate. Please take your business elsewhere! Bad food even worst customer service.

The food was good, took a little time to come out but the taste was great and the prices are good.

Discovered this gem while headed to another Mexican restaurant, which was closed when we arrived. I was like “Now what?”

Came in to pick up some groceries and found a restaurant in the back! Really good food, but sparse service.

I got three tacos from this place over four days ago, and I kid you not, I have only just now recovered from the food poisoning. I didn’t even know food poisoning could be so awful. The first day was stomach cramps that had me yelling out in pain and crying for hours (I am a 35-year-old adult), on top of the usual fun symptoms of food poisoning. I was almost hospitalized for dehydration after not being able to keep water down for over a day. Tacos were chorizo, shrimp and carne asada. None tasted “off” but none tasted good either. I fed my dog some of the scraps after I was done — he and I got sick within the same hour the following day. I love the market at this place, but avoid the prepared food at all costs.

Don’t be put off by the store front or the entryway. This place looks like a grocery store, but if you walk inside and wine your way through a couple of turns you will find a small but comfortable dining area.
