My husband’s food was ok, mine had no flavor. The chips are too hard. The salsa was good but hard to pour. Service was good, place needs a good cleaning but not terrible. Our table had dried cheese sauce on it. Really trying hard to find something more positive to say and less negative

Unfortunately, I just deleted a 5 star review that was posted for the last 7 years, I’ve been eating there much longer than that. A lot has changed at Cinco de Mayo in the last year. Their motto is “where friends become family”. That no longer seems to be true. For years I ordered items off the menu but made small tweaks to them and they were more than happy to make me whatever I wanted. Truly felt like family. The last time I was there I made a simple request and the cooks refused to make what I had been served many times before, and management did nothing about it. Very sad to see what the place I used to eat at several times a week has become. Not the customer service I was used to.
