Great food, great prices. I love the pulled pork, brisket, mac and cheese and the cheesy potatoes. I wish they were a permanent menu option, so I don’t have to check their Facebook to see if they will offer it before I decide to go. I got everything in the photos for $30. The spicy bbq is really spicy. I’m not sure why other BBQ places seem to get more attention than Cindy Lou’s, because I think it’s the best in Salem. I have never been disappointed with their food!

Cindy Lou’s is my favorite bbq spot in town! Amazing brisket and ribs, and ever since I’ve moved to this part of town I’ve been making sure to get some of their sides any time I can. I especially love their beans & their Mac & cheese is fantastic. They are the really friendly guys and you can tell they really love the community and smoking good food. A must-see for Salem!

If you find yourself craving delicious smoked meats, the this is your place. Stopped by for dinner and I have to say, I was highly impressed. We were greeted by the staff and ended up having a great conversation while deciding on what to order. I ended up with sliced brisket (well worth the $6 over the chopped brisket) and pulled pork. I went with cole slaw and baked beans for my sides. Both meats had excellent smoke flavor. Both sides were also on point and complimented the meats well. My friend had the chopped brisket with ribs and his assessment was the same as mine. He stated the ribs had the right amount of pull of the bone.

Had the bbq pulled pork sandwich; pork had awesome flavor, needed a little more bbq sauce, was delicious! Coleslaw was good, didn’t care for the dressing. Mac & cheese was good, noodles lacked salt. Hope to try the ribs and bbq beans next time.

The first couple times were delicious. But we went about 3 4 days ago and we went before they were about to close. We were told everything was gone but the chicken so we went with it, I don’t know how long it had been sitting beforehand but me and my husband got salmonella from it. All the symptoms were very clear and let me say my night and last couple days have not been pleasant at all.

We ordered the pulled pork plate with coleslaw and garlic mashed potatoes, Mac daddy sandwiches with pulled pork and brisket, and a smoked meat and cheddar sandwich with pulled pork. I should have taken pictures, but we ate it too fast!
