I’ve ate here before but had not left a review yet. The food served here is just phenomenal. My husband and I started with the crab dip and then followed with the bolognese and hanger steak. We finished with the coconut sushi. Everything was delicious, the drinks were good and the service was excellent. I recommend for anyone wanting an upscale meal. Lastly props to the live piano entertainment, the gentleman was excellent and I enjoyed most of his song elections.

11/10 dining experience. One of our favorite meals to date. The food was to die for. Service was great, she paced our meal perfectly. The restaurant was beautiful and it was an amazing last meal on our babymoon. PS- You HAVE to get the mussels!!!

I have visited Circa 1922 many times. The food is always excellent. The service has been excellent as well. The downtown building makes for a nice atmosphere, though it can get a little noisy when busy. Interesting and tasty bar specialties are offered as well. It’s expensive but you certainly get what you pay for here.

The original restaurant we had picked for the night had a 2 hour wait for a table, so we ended up looking for somewhere else to eat and found Circa 1922 recommended online. We’re so glad we didn’t eat at our original place because we LOVED Circa 1922!

WOW! We heard good things about this place but needed to try it to be sure and it didn’t disappoint. We did the fixed prix menu and assumed portions would be smaller but they were not. Also got the fried calamari which was one of the best we’ve ever had (not soggy at all and had the perfect crispyness). For the entrees, the herb chicken breast was juicy and the steak was was tender. The little desserts at the end (pot de crème and blueberry cheesecake) were the perfect ending.

My wife and I keep finding new places after 1 year of living in the area and this place did not disappoint! We had small plates, drinks and wonderful oysters from Connecticut. We lived in Massachusetts for 2 years and were used to having oysters of a good size out of the cold northern Atlantic Ocean so we were delighted to have a dozen here. The octopus and calamari were very good and so few local places serve octopus. They were very busy on a Tuesday night but the noise level was such that we could talk without shouting.

Food & service has always been superb. I have come to this restaurant more than 10 times and have never had a complaint. Wine and recommendations are always amazing. Caesar salad is always dressed perfectly, the battered anchovies are my favorite part. I could have dozens and dozens of the oysters here, if I could afford it lol. They are to die for literally, especially with the accompanied sorbet, hot sauce and mignonette. I have dreams about the carpaccio, that’s how good it is. Everything on the menu is amazing, and their specials are top notch as well. I could go on and on about the food. And the service is always welcoming, not rushed whatsoever, and personable which I believe a lot of people including myself look for in a restaurant. 🙂 I LOVEEEE <333 this place

We had a great experience at Circa. Our server, Codi, was great. She was attentive and informative. The food was beyond our expectations. We did eat outside which was enjoyable even with people walking by. This is a gem in downtown Wilmington.

Delicious food! When we sent our reservation our special request for a booth apparently didn’t get transferred over. The hostess apologized and said they would be busy and she would see. She was able to get us to a booth quickly. Between the waitress and the food runners and another guy – our table remained clear of empty plates and food was delivered in a timely manner. Will be back

Wow!!! The food is amazing here. I was blown away! The vibe is super chill and such a cute location. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. There was live piano music, which was a nice surprise. Parking is a little challenging, which is expected in downtown Wilmington, so plan accordingly. I wanted alllll the things so I will have to keep going a least until I try everything. The seared octopus was our sharable and was fabulous. Seared scallops wow!!!
